TBGKon
There is no more official throwback program put on by the NFL, so if a team chooses to wear a throwback, it must be considered as their alternate for the season. So this year you will most likely see (with pics to follow in another post)Dolphins in typical white vs. Lions in black (their alt unis)Buccaneers in white vs. Cowboys in blue throwbacks (their alt unis)Broncos in typical white vs. Chiefs in typical home redUnis to (assumable) be worn on Thanksgiving:vs.vs.since Denver-KC Is nothing unusual, I wont post pics. WSU151
its a shame if they dont. i liked when the whole league did it that entire weekend a few years back. The last time the whole league wore throwbacks was 1994, and that was over the course of a season. What year are you talking about, HatMan? The whole league has never worn throwbacks for Thanksgiving weekend during this decade. Smart is believing half of what you hear. What year are you talking about, HatMan? The whole league has never worn throwbacks for Thanksgiving weekend during this decade."The whole league" is refering to all the teams playing on Thanksgiving, I assume. This was, in fact, done last in 2004 I believe.Proud quarterback memories for two proud franchises:Joey Harrington and the Lions versus the Colts.Craig Krenzel and the Bears versus the Cowboys. At least one QB got what was comin' to him...As you can see, all 4 teams are wearing either throwbacks or throwback-inspired alternates. Proc
The Lions will wear the home blue jersey. The only two games they were scheduled to wear the black were the home opener and Dec. 24th vs. DaBears.

Perhaps he is talking about how NFL.com used to put up retro logos on its site for the whole league except for Tampa Bay during Thanksgiving weekend...I don't know. mania
The lack of a throwback program is completely stupid. The idea of putting together a weekend where all teams that have them wear throwbacks would be tremendous, not just from the fans point of view, but also, think about the fact that these jerseys often outsell the regular ones.
