If they're going to keep the O's alternate cap, I'd put the white outline on.I dunno, the problem with that style is they just look like the cheap hats you can buy on the streets on the way into Camden Yards. Maybe a subtle white outline on the bigger O's on the alternate hat would look okay.In general, I just think these look too much like fan hats, and less like authentic hats. If the red patch was blue I could tolerate the white piping (or red, had they gone that route). I actually like the white C with the red outline. The A's example above looks OK to me because the patch and the rest of the caps match. All the rest of these look weird.And doesn't the top of this thread say "BP unis in <I>action</I>"? There's already a thread with all of these MLB shop pictures, just so you know. I think there was some hope that these wouldn't look as bad on the field. And well, I'd say, jerseys OK, caps thumbs down.EDIT: Of course, as soon as I say that, I find this:In natural light, the two pieces of the cap (both black) look different because of the different material, so maybe these new caps are simply a lost cause as a whole. Its definately head and shoulders over last years model even with the drawback of the side panel. I can accually wear it out in public without worrying about looking like a complete idiot like i did in the previous two styles of BP cap. Plus that, and its comfortable.What was it about last year's model that you found objectionable?The fact that the front of the hat held its shape like wet cardboard. I look dumb in low profile caps as it is, but those were rediculous. They would go as far as to wrinkle when on my head. The new ones have a much better shape, as do the new on field caps. It was that way since at least last year, and probably for a good few years now. It wasn't that long ago that you could actually find a couple different STL designs being used on the same items (though, I think they've always just had one official logo).Kind of hard to explain since, like I said, they only have one official logo (which is different from like the Yankees who officially have two NYs).I prefer the angled T myself. Is it some sort of weird preview of their planned new scheme? Or did they always have blue highlights and I just never noticed until they made it so obvious?
