sacker12
here are the Braves BP uniforms. I couldn't copy the images so I'll jsut give you the link to the gallery. It's only 6 pictures long and gives you different angles.http://lpe.ajc.com/gallery/view/sports/2007/0207/0218bravesThanks for the pictures, Rocky....sort of. I really wanted to see them, and you've satisfied my curiousity. However, that's about the only positive thing I can say. Ick.The jerseys are alright, don't get me wrong. About as good as can be expected from this template. But the caps? The simple, timeless A has been graffiti-ed with the pointless red stroke. Combine that with the red bill-piping, the red "flap," and the red piping above it (why not go for white piping, and at least make it look like someone put some effort into it...), and you have a hat that is, in a word, craptacular. Looks like a Braves or Nascar fan hat you can get at Walmart.I agree. I dislike that hat so much that I decided to just buy the old Braves BP hat with the alternate logo on it. The new "A" sucks.Off topic, but when did John Thomson become a Blue Jay. I knew about the Braves possibly dumping him because of him being injured so much, but I didn't know about him actually being dumped.

Chazberg
Here's the Tigers new hat. I wonder if Rodgers will take the time to color in the white like he did last year?I think I see a "dirt" spot on his hand charles-noerenberg.com
ShlyKBMT
At least now that the ST/BP jersey lettering is black they don't look like the alternates anymore.
CubsFanBudMan
That view really shows what I think they were going for on the side panels. The continuation of the stripe around the bill to form a curved shape. But when the colors are different and they fill in the panel, it fails.I was thinking the same thing when I saw the picture in your reply, but before I read your message. In addition to the reason you say it fails, it also fails from pretty much any other angle because the piping on the bill APPEARS to taper off when looking at it from the front, so you don't really get the continuation effect.I guess that's what I was trying to say. I'll add that it also fails because it doesn't line up. For that guy in the pic, the other "pipe" on the opposite side is probably jutting into the bill. Guest
Why does Kenny Rogers wear a batting practice hat in games, anyway? Isn't that some sort of uniform violation? I don't see what the big difference is, but then again, I've only worn 5950s.

simpsontide
I can live with some of the caps but the jerseys are horrible. They remind me of basketball warm up shirts . The jerseys should always have a solid color base along with the team logos.
josh1068
Thank goodness the Red Sox' spring training jerseys finally feature the proper font. The ones they've used the few years had that alternate cartoony font that just looked bad, IMO.
Braden
Look what I found... it's a screencap of an ESPN video.Strange, but there's no usual 2nd outline on the Jays numbers on these jerseys.

Its not bad just a little plain imo. I guess we are so use to the 2nd outline on the jerseys.
Neon_Matrix
I went out and bought the new Jays BP cap today and I must say that I LOVE it. I think it fits very well as well as looking very sharp. Here is a pic of me in it in a Jack Astors, lol. I also saw two Tigers caps today (orange and B+W), Mets, Yanks, Braves and... someone else I dont remember. I must say they all look great in person and fit remarkably well. I'm glad I dropped $45 CDN on this baby!!If anyone has ANY questions about anything about the hat, feel free to ask and I'd be more than glad to share and even take more specific pictures if wanted. Because Korbyn Is Colour Blind, My Signature Is Now Idiot Proof - Thanks Again Braden!!Go Leafs Go!
FiddySicks
Here's the Tigers new hat. I wonder if Rodgers will take the time to color in the white like he did last year? He'll prolly just wear the regular hats now considering the underbill is black and he doesnt ahve to worry about the pine tar showing up. CKini25
I went out and bought one this weekend as well. I got my Indians one at Lids and I also mus say that I love it. My only complaint is that the sizes ran really big. I normally wear a 7 3/8 and had to settle for a small/medium.
sj32
[quote QUOTE(Braden @ Tuesday, February 20th, 2007 - 00:09:54) Look what I found... it's a screencap of an ESPN video.Strange, but there's no usual 2nd outline on the Jays numbers on these jerseys.I read somewhere (it might have been UniWatch Blog) that equipment managers were having problems putting the sewn numbers on the backs of the new BP jerseys. Apparently the new jerseys can't handle the weight of the tackle-twill numbers. Several equipment managers said they were having to reaquaint themselves with the heat-press to put names and numbers on the new jerseys. If the jerseys are that thin and light, I can see why the Blue Jays are going "light" on the outlines.
BRice16
The logos on the front of some teams' jerseys are the same screen-printed tackle twill that is found on the "Swingman" NBA jerseys.

They can add whatever kind of trim they want to it as long as they don't ever change the regular logos.
rainmaker17
Surprisingly, the Rangers isn't that bad. I was afraid the goofy side panel would be red.
Avsman
What the hell is this? The Reds don't usually have a red "C" on their red caps. I know it's BP, but it just looks goofy. The price is waay too steep also. $24 for this monstrosity? Get the hat right, then we'll talk. Have you ever looked at sports logos...ON WEED?
