I just noticed you NHL fooball helmets section, and the helmets look great. One addition you could make to those helmets is to add the team's traditional (or pre-2007) jersey striping in the form of helmet stripes (i.e., white and black stripes for the Blackhawks, single white stripe for the Red Wings, etc.). With this year's "disappearance" of horizontal striping on hockey jerseys anything that retains the tradition will make NHL fans happy. I hope you plan to add more international 'flag' helmets to your custom section, and put in a rainbow helmet for peaceniks of the world...this is a section you can have some non-PC fun with! I love the Star Wars Empire and Rebel helmets! I'd love to see some for Star Trek too...I also love the NHL/NBA/MLB sections...can you make a yellow Penguins helmet with the older logo on it?Keep up the great work. FiddySicks Posted June 10, 2008 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Just two minor corrections on your high school helmet section. In the Nevada section both Reno HS and Spanish Springs HS are incorrect. Reno uses a blue shelled helmet with a custom scripted red R, and Spanish springs uses a different logo. That's a bit of a nit pick though, those are both really hard logos to find. If I can find em I'll try to post the rest of the teams from that league as well. Your missing North Valleys Panthers (which uses a black helmet with teal Princeton wings), the Douglas Tigers, the Wooster Colts (Red helmet, white colts horse shoe logo), the Reed Raiders (Very similar look to Carson, Royal helmet with vegas gold block R on the right, vegas gold #s on the opposite side) and the most important of them all, the SOUTH TAHOE VIKINGS For that one I have a few pics of my helmet I can send you. However, my school's helmet didn't seem to make the cut. Perhaps one of these day's you'll get around to working up a helmet featuring the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, New Mexico), or even one for the Moffat County Bulldogs (Craig, Colorado). Very nice site.I always imagined a Milwaukee Bucks helmet would have antlers like the St. Louis Rams horns, Vikings horns, etc. Still, great selection. oddball Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 As someone who lives in Orange County, I can tell you that the only things I see wrong in your California section is that Mater Dei is in Santa Ana, Ca, and that Sunny Hills nickname is the Lancers not the Knights.
