FiddySicks
I guess this works best for the lounge. Now I think this has been done before (and I might have bee the thread starter as well, if so I apologize), but I figure bringing this back to life every so is all right. So I was discussing this with a friend tonight, and after reading this very issue in a thread about the Rangers it got me thinking, what teams do you find to be the most personally forgettable? While some teams do remain very constant, it tends to change a bit for me every so often. Texas RangersMemphis/Vancouver Grizzlies (Was the Cavs till the LeBron Era)Florida PanthersNew York Jets (Other than the Broadway Joe days and that a close friend of mine is the only Jets fan I've ever met, I'd hardly notice)Now I realize that most of these teams have some semblance to a strong past, but for the most part these are the teams that I generally forget most often. If you have teams you feel similar about, or want to defend any of these teams, please share. P.S. If this already exists and you feel it's just recycling old ideas feel free to dump this puppy, but it's an issue that tends to pop up in conversation with me and my sports loving friends every so often. Sodboy13
The Charlotte Bobcats are the only team who's made me think, "Oh yeah, they're playing there now." There are plenty of teams I don't care about, but the Bobcats are the only team I've truly forgotten plays in a top-tier professional league On 1/25/2013 at 1:53 PM, 'Atom said: For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. I guess it's the new uniforms, but I forget about their existence easily. If I'm naming the NL west, the diamondbacks are the team I'm most likely to forget. Remember this is all opinion. Also a Blue Jacket is a civil war soldier. the Union army's uniforms were manufactured in Columbus and Ohio sent more men to fight in the war than any other state. But if I weren't a Columbus resident, arena employee, or Blue Jackets fan I would probably have a hard time remembering they were in the league. It's not like they've done anything since their expansion and are on the fast-track to their 8th season without an appearance in the playoffs. Perhaps next year, things are getting better.
