If Philly wins the SB I hope McNabb tells T.O. to go @!#$%^ himself as he waves the Lombardi Trophy at the camera.

If Arizona wins the SB I would be happy for the Cardinal fans, coaches and players but not Bill Bidwell. Jackass.

You know how many people's brains you just :censored:ed up by entering that guy's name into what's done developed into a helluva Cinderella story out of Arizona? ^_^

Brendan is a Seahawks fan. He's going for them because they're the "best" team remaining.

Thank you for clarifying that TFOA.

All I'm saying is that I'd rather see Goliath vs Goliath, rather than David vs David. That doesn't mean I want the playoffs to be eliminated, or anything like that.

But Goliath is boring. David's entertaining as all get out.

Although....it's not like Arizona had to try to win in December and late November either. They could rest up throughout that part of the season, having already locked up a playoff spot. Why worry about HFA when you can be super prepared for the playoffs instead?

infrared-add to scenario 3, "Indeed, Warner has kicked the crap out of the Rams every time he has started against them since he left."

Scenario Four: Philly beats Pittsburgh. McNabb wins SB MVP. During the postgame coverage McNabb tells all of Philly to go :censored: itself and demands a trade then yells "that was win was for you Seattle!"

Thank you.

:censored:ing Steelers.

The thing is if the Seahawks were in the NFC Championship where Arizona is in the same boat right now you know his reaction would have been totally different. He would be defending them til the day he dies.

Scenario Five: Pittsburgh beats Baltimore and dedicates the win to Browns fans everywhere. Frankly beyond that and despite having lived in the Pittsburgh area for over a decade, I don't care about the SB outcome.

I don't understand all this hate, you don't have to watch the Baltimore Browns. You guys got to keep all your history and were awarded a new team almost immediately. Art Modell is no longer with the team either. I can understand why there would be some hate, but you guys got a real good deal and its been a long time, I think its time to let it go.

Anyway, I'm looking foward to this match-up. I'm not sure that Pittsburgh could beat us three times in a row. The Ravens just need to play their game and not force the run. I'll be a little upset if Troy Smith doesn't step on the field again this week.

I couldn't agree more. I think I'd understand the hate more if the Ravens had actually won anything during the time that Cleveland was without a franchise.

No hate from me. I am rooting for The Ravens against The Steelers. It's just that I would like to see either Philly or Arizona win since they've never won a Super Bowl. As long as it's not The Steelers, I don't really care. I don't hate The Ravens. I'm a little miffed that the franchise couldn't do here what it's done in Baltimore but that's hardly the team's fault.

As you said, that was a long time ago. I'm over it. Go Ravens.

Everyone seems shocked at the match-ups, but they make sense based on traditional football rules of thumb. Namely defense wins championships and playoff experience helps. During the season Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia had the top 3 defenses in the league. Also, look at the QBs left aside from Flacco. Warner and Roethlisberger both won titles and McNabb is in his 5th conference title game and reached the Super Bowl. Flacco is being carried by the defense, but that worked for the Ravens once before.

I see Eagles 27, Cardinals 20 and Steelers 16, Ravens 13. I live in eastern PA, but there are many Steelers fans around and the state civil war will be insane. Bring it on.

I'm on the anybody-but-Pittsburgh plan just like I was last spring during the stanley cup finals. I can't think of a reasonable or logical reason to hate Pittsburgh and yet I do. So come on Aribaltdelphia, bring it home for the rest of us.

But if I had to choose this is the order of teams I'd want to see win based on how much I like the teams/how recently they won it all:

1. Arizona - Philly's at least been to a super bowl this decade, this is the closest the Cardinals have ever been and it might be their last shot for a long time. If this loser franchise can win a super bowl then my loser franchise can too.

2. Philadelphia - These fans got to celebrate a world series title in October, but from what I understand Philadelphia is more of a football town. The Eagles broke everyone's heart there against the patriots in super bowl 39 and I really like Donovan McNabb and would love to see him get a ring with all of the bull*hit he's had to put up with.

3. Baltimore - they won in 2000, but I'd rather them win than Pittsburgh

32. Pittsburgh - no explanation necessary. Watching them lose another AFC championship game would be hilarious.

Yea, I kinda regret saying that (just because I was afraid it might get this thread way off topic). The only reason it really bothers me is that I feel alot of Cleveland fans make the Baltimore fans out to be the bad guys. When we know exactly how you guys felt. It was a shame we had to get a relocated team instead of an expansion team, but that appeared to be the only way to bring football back to Baltimore. In a way I hope Browns fans can one day find success much like the Ravens have in Baltimore (although its hard to truly root for you guys since we are in the same division).

How about the fact that you're a Bengals fan? The Steelers are one of your biggest rivals. Just saying... B)

Maybe the angst is due to how the Ravens and new Browns have fared after the 1995 season. They see the success the Ravens have had and see "what could have been" had they stayed in Cleveland.

-The Ravens have won a Super Bowl and made the playoffs 4-5 times since 1996, and are poised to make another Super Bowl appearance.

-The Browns have had a grand total of 2 winning seasons, and 1 playoff appearance, since 1999, and are coming off a season where they didn't score an offensive touchdown the last 5-6 weeks of the season.

Gotta root for the Cardinals.

1.) Hate the Eagles

2.) Hate the Ravens

3.) For a team with a history of losing like the Cardinals, you can't help but feel good about a team like this. They're the NFL's Cubs
