TFoA
If I were a Red Sox fan, I'd be pissed. Most of the defense on those stolen bases was terrible. There was one situation when Crawford stole 3rd and NOBODY from Boston was near 3rd. Either that's smart running or just awful defense.Either way, if someone steals 6 bases in a game for only the 4th time since 1900, either that guy is just INCREDIBLY fast and aggressive, and/or the defense on those stolen bases was just plain bad.Still an awesome feat for Crawford. VandyDelphia Mike
That's interesting: The game between Houston and Washington has been suspended in the bottom of the 11th. They will have to wait until July 9th to finish.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/baseball/...7817_recap.htmlWhich gives a good two months for Houston and Washington to have completely different rosters and have players finish the game that were not on the roster when the game started, and vice versa.Astros and Nationals enjoyed how the World Series of 2008 ended so much, they did their best to emulate the circumstances. One last thought: let's say Houston and Washington trade players between now and July 9. Given baseball substitution rules, could a player that was subbed out on the Astros be re-inserted in the resumed game as a National?
