TFoA
lol @ that final out. Everybody was confused as hell.Still awesome though. That is a HUMONGOUS upset.
ericjjyy
I did not see that upset coming at all. Even after the three run first, I expected the Dominican Republic to come back and blow them out. Also, I remember hearing that Chinese Taipe won the second most Little League World Series championships behind only the United States who gets an automatic bid into the finals every year. How is it that a country that has such a strong program for their kids is so weak for thier adults? I know there's probably a good reason why and I'm just wondering if anyone here new and could enlighten me with this type of knowledge.

FiddySicks
So I just noticed that Russell Martin is wearing J. Martin on his jersey. Anyone hear about this? Russell Martin orders up a 'J' in honor of his motherA word to the wise: Should you be watching the Dodgers this spring and notice a player by the name of "J. Martin" wearing Russell Martin's old No. 55, do not automatically assume his identity was stolen or that a relative is standing squatting in on a day off. Starting this season, the Dodgers catcher will wear an extra "J." on the back of his uniform in honor of his mother Suzanne's maiden name, which is Jeanson. It's probably old news, but I thought it was pretty cool. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) WJMorris3
Remind me, why is the United States home? Canada should be home, it's in Canada - only fair that if the host nation is participating, they should be the home team.

Then again it's MLB so it was probably just randomly determined.
TFoA
If Steve Phillips is the color commentator...then lmao @ Steve Phillips ether-ing the Mets. "Jimmy Rollins just showed why the Mets always miss the playoffs." Holy crap. This has been a great game. The Canadian fans are REALLY into it, making it a great atmosphere. BBTV
LOL @ Steve Phillips "you don't have at bats like this in Pittsburgh." WJMorris3
Okay, I think ESPN probably could have afforded more announcers so they don't have to have Gary Thorne call every game.
