The Jets need to take those green pants to some landfill in New Jersey and leave them there.

Are they too flashy or "new-school" for you? :flagcanada:

Methinks we will see the Jets back in their old all-whites again next weekend in Pitt and if they get to the Big Game in Dallas, we will see the green pants return on the big stage.

Don't use my country's flag. It cheapens the whole thing.

Green pants on the road are a win in more ways than one. Hope they break 'em out again in Pittsburgh.

I see them going to white since they beat them in all white in Week 15. Didn't they wear the green pants when Brien choked the game against the Steelers?

Yeah I think they did, I agree I see them in all white next week.

I'd like the green pants without the white lines.

We call those stripes. And that's a bad idea. The Jets uniform is very stripe heavy. To have an piece of the uniform as large as the pants without a matching element then it would throw off the balance of the whole uniform. It'd be the same problem the browns have with their brown pants.

Right, though I could understand an argument that they should have only one white stripe, to match the jersey and helmet. I don't agree with that (I think the double stripe is fine), but I understand it.

The helmet, jersey and socks all have two stripes, though.

Yeah, they wore green for both road games in 2004. The Jets were huge underdogs for that Pittsburgh game and were game enough to forced OT. Yeah, Brien missed, but no hurt there. Unlike some teams, (Dallas Cowboys), the Jets don't worry about jinxes. Sometimes, it's not what color you wear, it's how you play!

Like what, they lost a game or two while wearing them? Please....

Well, the Patriots lost as #1 seed in their navy home uniforms today. Better throw 'em into the bonfire!

Trust me, not just the playoffs all the time. Ever wonder why with the exception of this year the Eagles and Redskins wear white at home against them? Theyre CURSED.

That is certainly one way of looking at it.

Another would be that the helmet, white jersey, and white pants have a single white stripe bordered by green. A single white stripe on the pants would match this (though not obviously, therefore it's probably not a good idea.) You could also say that the green jersey has a single white stripe bordered by green (and then the white sleeve extension) so a single white stripe on the green pants would bring the entire set together.

Of course you could also say that the green jersey has a single green stripe bordered by white, which would make the green pants match, and contrast the helmet, but yeah... it's better the way they already have it!

The 'Boys were undefeated in their navy blues in 2010. So, I don't think you can say they are all that cursed.

Back to the Jets....I'd expect them (as I stated earlier) to be back in the 'white from head-to-toe' uniforms again in Pitt.

If they can find a way to get to Dallas, it will be interesting to see what they do. They will be in white jersey's (most likely since the AFC is the road team) in the SB. They already lost in all white against Chicago this year. And Green Bay shut em' out, in the home green jersey's and white pants.

So if the Jets are really playing the "uniform game" (since that is why they went with green pants at NE in the first place), I possibly see the green pants returning for the Super Bowl.

Or maybe the Pack or Bears wear their hideous throwbacks and the Jets dust off the NY Titans unis and make it a throwback wet dream (and I know, there are no throwbacks allowed in the playoffs).

If they're really playing the "uniform game" then doesn't it seem to reason that they'll go with the all white look? It is after all what they were wearing in Super Bowl III.

Wasn't that just a beautiful looking game Dennis? Gray facemasks and everything. :P

Beautiful!

A-freakin'-men! That is a gorgeous looking final four. I'm just glad this at least guarantees a good-looking Super Bowl! From a uniform standpoint, any potential Super Bowl match-up will look top notch.

Negative on the gray facemasks. But I'd love to see Mark Sanchez bust out some white shoes as an homage to Broadway Joe.

This is what a conference championship weekend should look like. Not a dud in the bunch.

And be fined a kajillion dollars by the NFL for doing so...

If the Jets can afford to have trainers trip players: they should shell out the dough for white cleats.
