For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

The American flag is upside-down. :flagcanada::wacko:

yes really, poor effort by who made the jerseys though.

Apparently the sarcastic owl image wasn't enough for you to figure out that I was being sarcastic?

That means I did a bad job at being sarcastic back sorry.

You know, Infrared might be on to something with his whole theory that the latest crop of newbies only care about raising their post count. How else would you explain YessSir and Jahgee's derailing of the thread?

On topic, that is indeed pretty odd. Of course, real sticklers for the flag rules would tell you that the real mess-up was displaying the flag on a sports uniform at all.

Well the did lose 3-1, maybe they were in distress.

That was nice.

On the other hand, that's a bit embarrassing. It's one thing to have misspelled names or team names on a jersey or shirt, it's another to get the flag wrong.

Then again, there are some who would argue that the flag shouldn't be on the shirts at all, so there's that.

If it isn't your language, I could see getting the names misspelled. If it isn't your flag, I could see putting it on the wrong way. If I worked somewhere sewing foreign flags onto clothing, I can guarantee I wouldn't get them all right.
