floydnimrod Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 I liken the Cardinals to the San Antonio Spurs, I respect the organization, it's just they are boring and I don't want to see them win another championship. The similarity starts with Pujols and Tim Duncan being great players who I think should be respected, even if you can't stand them. I would love for the Rangers to win this series, and neither of these teams be in the WS next year.But if the Cardinals do end up winning, and it looks like they will, I can be happy with some of my favorite players getting rings (Rhodes, Dotel, Edwin Jackson). All these blown oppurtunities show that the Rangers can't handle those situtations, and it sucks! It jsut seems none of my teams can win championships lately. Ex: Steelers, Rangers 2010 and 2011, Braves(Wild Card), Pitt(Big East), and well that's aboout it, but I'm just so angry how teams can blow the same lead in 4 straight innings.
