Not much enthusiasm over the non-sporting events, but it could lead to medals if you participate!The requirements for the Entertainment Event were:The Cirque du Soleil is currently developing a new music-based show called Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, scheduled to start in 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. You have to create a ticket for the newest Cirque du Soleil show.Only the front of the ticket is required for the submission. Do NOT include the back of the ticket.The ticket has to be in on of the following formats: 700 px wide by 300 px high OR 215 px wide by 500 px high; templates are provided and you must use one of them.Include all the necessary information (fictional date, time, location) on the ticket.Since there are only two entries in this event, I will only hand out a Gold medal.List your favorite entry.The poll closes Monday, October 24th, at 12:30PM Eastern Time (three days from now).Voting for this event is now over.EntriesEntry #1Entry #2Disqualified entriesFor both disqualified entries, there is one important information missing on the ticket: the location of the show. I've never seen a ticket without that prime information, and it was also explicitely mentioned in the necessary information to display on the ticket.missouri tigers' entrycory676's entryI do realize that missouri tigers' entry has the Scottrade Center logo, but the event information specifically mentioned that the show would take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort, therefore that should be the location of the show.ReminderThe voting will be open to public voting once the event is officially over. Once the finalists have been posted in the event thread, voting will be open for 3 days.Judging is open to all board members registered BEFORE September 1st. This is to ensure no one is voting for themselves under an alternate login.Members may vote once per event and may not vote for their own entry (I'll know if you did, and will not count your vote). You may not disclose the identity of any of the designers of the entries until voting closes.Voting will be via the 3-2-1 points method.
