An interesting tweet from Sam Amico

NBA GM No. 1: "I'm through done dealing with (Celtics') Danny Ainge. Bleep him."

? Sam Amico (@SamAmicoFSO) March 15, 2012

Damn. Looks like no one wants to give all of their young guards plus first round picks for the next infinity years for Allen.

Wizards also got Nene while sending McGee to the Nuggets.

The Cavs traded Sessions and Eyenga to the Lakers for Luke Walton, Jason Kapano and the Lakers 2012 first-round pick (great trade for the Lakers in my opinion).

The Lakers traded their pick from Dallas and Derek Fisher to the Rockets for Jordan Hill. (I understand why we did this, but I hate it. I love Fish)

The Rockets also got Camby and the Blazers fired McMillan.

The Nets got Gerald Wallace for Okur and Williams and a protected future first-round pick.

Luke Walton?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOO!!! (But seriously, they actually got something for Luke Walton lol, Good luck man, maybe you'll actually get some playing time)

And yeah, like you, I definitely understand trading D-Fish, but man I didn't want to lose him. This is probably going to be Fish's last leg of his career.

So the Blazers blew up their team.

The Wizards tweaked their roster to bring in more veterans.

The Lakers are trying to get younger and were able to do so while keeping Gasol which will at least keep them competitive for this year.

And the fact that Dwight Howard is staying with the Magic pretty much screwed the Nets who I would say until yesterday were planning their roster as if Dwight Howard would be there next year. Now they may lose Derron Williams because of it which as I said a weeks ago may or may not be a blessing in disguise because I think he's overated as hell and in no way is worth a max deal contract.

Hmm, Bulls didn't do anything to make themselves better. Not surprised. That costs money that Jerry Reinsdorf doesn't have but actually does but says he doesn't.

So I imagine the team that is more pissed off than anyone are the Nets; I can't imagine Deron wanting to stay with them after this.

He loves playing for the Nets. He's the centerpiece of a big market team which is what he wants to be above all else. It would have locked him up if they had gotten Howard but they won't necessairly lose him because of it.

The only other team he would want to go to would be the Mavericks because he's from Dallas, they are ready to win and aparently him and Dirk Nowitzki are very good friends. The only downside is he won't be seen as the guy on that team as long as Dirk is there so that could be the one thing that prevents him from going.

For me, Nets and Mavs lost with D-Howard decision.

> Nets lost the possibility to have another super star when they move to Brooklyn, and also lock on D-Will.

> Mavs lost the possibility of rebuilt for a championship, even if they add D-Will in the off season, Dallas won't be contender (they should know now that with D-fense, team work and a main guy are the keys to win a title, but only with D-Will replacing J-Kidd, I don't Dallas could win all).

That's what I was thinking, we actually got someone decent for Luke? lol. I'll miss Fish a lot though. In my opinion, he's the greatest role-player the Lakers ever had. We should retire his number; I know we won't, but we should.

I hope the Lakers can somehow make a run at CP3 or Deron without losing Pau or Bynum. We do that, and we're instant title contenders.

Sure, the Wizards do get a pretty good veteran in Nene but we lost two of our best young guns in McGee & Young. I seriously hope the Wizards do something next season. Well, other than another early first round pick.

Well, it looks like the Warriors actually did something that wasn't completely stupid. Sorta

Warriors trade Stephen Jackson to the Spurs for Richard Jefferson and a 1st.

EDIT: And apparently TJ Ford, who just RETIRED is as well included in the deal. :therock: WTF?

Getting Nick Young for only Brian Cook and a second-rounder is an INCREDIBLE steal. In fact, I'm happier about this than if Olshey had caved to Ainge's ridiculous demand for Bledsoe AND a pick in return for Ray Allen. The only way this day gets better is if Vinny gets fired.

I love it too. I was a big fan of Young during his USC days.

Enjoy Nick. He is definitely fun to watch and I am going to miss him. My only complaint about him is that sometimes he is too laid back and plays around too much, but I think that was a lingering effect from the Gilbert Arenas era as well as him just being on a bad team with bad players. I think he will do well in LAC. And he can get real hot in a hurry.

I don't even know who Brian Cook is, and I consider myself more than a casual NBA fan.

The Wizards just lost two players who make them bearable to watch. They suck but at least with Young and McGee we knew there would be some sort of fun offensive show on a regular basis. Now they are going to be bad AND boring.

He's one of the worst players you'll ever see lol. Take it from a Lakers fan who use to have Cook on his team. Hell, I think we drafted him if I'm not mistaken.

The Clippers definitely got a STEAL of a trade.
