gdu
There's no more 'O' on the back of the Chrome helmets.I hate them even more now.And what's with the X on the left helmet?Maybe, maybe not. The helmet (unlike the wings) was a decal IIRC. No need for those to get dinged up in practice. I wouldn't be surprised to see them at all on Sat. guest23
Looks like those Oregon helmets with the green wings are real and they are a thing of beauty. The link is below the picture. They show up around 48 seconds. are the molded green helmets practice only?..must be a nightmare for the equipment managers to keep changing out all those damn helmets as they sometimes wear the game helmets during the week. I hope they bust out a chrome green with chrome yellow wings like the mockup someone did a while back. I also hope it is a decal and it shows up on game day.As for the "X" i'm pretty sure it's a Xenith helmet

If I'm wrong, then Oregon really screwed up by not having the O on the helmet.

BigDmo
My guess is that Oregon will keep the O on the back but change it up based on jersey combo, like they did last year

andrewharrington
The back of Ohio's Green Helmets...that pretty much kills the clean look. Continue the stripe, make the 12 A LOT smaller than it is, MAC Detail above the flag on the left, and it's a winner...i say drop everythingIn a perfect world, I think we'd all rather see just the warning label and maybe the numbers, but it is what it is at this point, and everyone seems to have conference logo, flag and memorial decal on there nowadays (sometimes award decals, too). The real story is RETURN OF THE PAWPRINT?
