That eliminates the above crossed out names. rvrdgsfn
I'd like to see either riptide or mariners, I think both would be good. I wouldn't want anything NHL name related though.

CSSdesigns
Charlottetown Destroyers. The name has a naval theme, would add a new colour scheme to the Q(blue and vegas gold, if i were running the team), and would make a big scene in PEI. It's like the Hlifax Mooseheads. Shorten it to Moose, and you got a great name. That's my problem (along with everyone else) with all of them. By not completing the collar it makes it 1 billion times sillier looking. CSSdesigns
Islanders. Please! Riptide sounds stupid(like Rocket) and Confederation sounds to classy for a CHL team. BigBubba
"Confederation" is a horrible name for a hockey team, even a junior one. "PEI Islanders" sounds kind of awkward because of the back-to-back "eye" sounds. "Riptides" isn't great, but it's by far the best option. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature. The_Admiral
Prince Edward Island Islanders is redundant in a non-endearing way, and everything else on the Island is already named "Confederation" as it is. (That's their John F. Kennedy.) I guess the best choice is Riptide. nash61
Just call them the Prince Edward Islanders and be done with it.Imagine if they used Fishsticks as a logo? CHL teams have used NHL logos (or variations thereof) many times before. Puck drops at 7:30pm at the legendary Pacific Coliseum! We'll wear retro tribute jerseys to honour the 1945/46 Canucks, fresh off their induction to the BC Sports Hall of Fame. What those 45-46 jerseys looked like:Odd that they would be wearing royal blue against Victoria.
