Shame that this is the last time in the foreseeable future that ND and Michigan will play.

Also, South Carolina - Georgia was a good game. While we're talking South Carolina...

Is it possible that Jadeveon Clowney is just a pretty good DE who made a great play in a bowl game?

It's hard to be a constant player in the backfield while being double/triple-teamed every play.

Is Illinois bi-polar? You go from beating an FCS school by 8, to curb stomping Cincinnati by 28.

The SIU game wasn't as close as the score looked and the Cincinnati game was probably as closer than the score indicated. Plus they went with a very simplified play book last week to keep it off film. I'm very happy with that performance, best game in a real long time. I'm confidant that they'll get four wins this year and have a good shot at five which is about as good as any fan realistically predicted before the start of the season. I'm scared about the Washington game next week at Solfier Field though.

Well I wouldn't have known that because all I did was look at the score...

No, that's not really fair. Clowney is an athletic freak and a really, really good player.

That said, I think everyone wishes that the media would stop acting like Clowney is the only player on that South Carolina team, because hype in general just gets irritating after a while.

The guy I've watched the past two weeks looks like a good player who made a great play. I'm not saying he sucks, I'm just not seeing what all the hype is about. There were plenty of plays today where a single Georgia o-lineman was handling Clowney. Again, I'm not saying he's a bad player and my question was perfectly fair.

Removed - it was unnecessary.
