Maybe an exception would be Omar Olivarez (sp?). Maybe an exception would be Omar Olivarez (sp?).I recently found out why Benito Santiago sported the '09' on his jersey and it actually made sense. For those who haven't heard it yet: It was something about when he wore his gear it would block the single digit number, but when he switched to a two digit number it wouldn't. Seeing that he had a special attachment to the #9 he added the zero as opposed to another number. I found that interesting and kind of clever.
