So back to the Islanders to be back to being decent with that pesky 15 game losing streak, followed by 2 wins, followed by another 9 game losing streak in the end of October/NovemberWe can only hope by some miracle that Wang sells during the offseason in time for a real GM and a real coach to come in and rescue this franchise. NEW.ERA Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 I can't find the old thread, but it looks like the Flames will finally be leaving Abbotsford, as they're going to terminate their deal with the Flames tomorrow. This sucks because the team is about to hopefully go on a long playoff run and its really close to Calgary, so getting call ups is super easy. On the plus though, they're getting out of Vancouver territory and they'll be within a few hundred miles of half the league.Finally everyone can be happy. It's a guaranteed zero-liability setup for them, and the city certainly hasn't made any overtures toward renegotiating the terms.
