TruColor
I'll throw out the official Tigers' primary marks while I'm at it. These are the only ones that have been deemed as official primaries: 1957-1960: 1961-1963: 1964-1993: 1994-2005: 2006-present: [ColorWerx, I love you, in a bro to fellow bro way. You did an amazing job recreating a thing of absolute beauty. Remember, I didn't create these. Thank the MLB. I'm just adjusting the colors for RGB.

Luke_Groundrunner
Noticed the Sugar Bowl logo that is on the site is not the most current one with the Allstate rebranding a couple years back.I've updated the Sugar Bowl page and added that current logo. TruColor
Did they finally fix the Yankees' original circle/top hat logo? This is what they deem official from 1946-1980: In 1968, this one became an alternate primary mark, and then became the official primary in 1981:

TruColor
Last set for tonight... The Pirates apparently didn't start using what we now know as a "primary logo" until around 1934 or so. Most of these teams that have been around since the beginning didn't make a habit of this until the '30s or '40s. Circa 1934 through 1960: 1961 through 1966 (was an alternate primary mark from 1958 through 1960): 1967 through 1986: 1987: This one used screens of the Gold (to create the Light Yellow) and of the Black (to create the Gray), and even used a custom color to make the darker Gold used in the outer "rule". 1988 through 1996: 1997 through 2013: 2014 through present: Those 1987 and 1988-1996 marks are interesting...the MLB will state that the second version ('88-'96) was the only one used; I have a 1987 Style Guide sheet that not only shows it exactly as is presented above, but even includes a highly detailed description as to how it is built - with the screens and custom color, and all. I wonder why they had two versions of the same logo for thirteen years? Was it a question of phasing out the old one but not replacing it where it was used in signage, etc? Or was the new one used for print applications where the simplified nature helped lower costs? Quote The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. I can actually remember seeing it as recently as 2008 in a handful of places around the old stadium. I love the old version of this logo, have a few shirts with it on it. DarthBrett
Some that I noticed are missing on the site still (I know there are more, just ones I noticed):Boston Red Sox - grey road jersey script from the 70's. Some other miscellaneous from the 40's-60'sFlorida Marlins - original silver script from the original teal 1993 BP jerseyMilwaukee Brewers - Some of the 1970's stuff.San Diego Padres - Most of the scripts and wordmarks from 1969-1978Chicago White Sox - A lot of scripts from their early history as well as the 1980'sSan Francisco Giants - Scripts from their early days up to the mid-1970's. The script from the new alt Orange jersey from '14.Chicago Cubs - Red script from the blue BP jersey from the mid-1990's.Houston Astros - The off-white road scripts from the 1980's-1990's. The script from the '97-'99 grey away jerseys. The script from the BP jersey from the 1980's.Cincinnati Reds - Various scripts/wordmarks from their early history up to the 1970's. Also missing some from the 1980's and up through 1998. (The '93-'98 jerseys are on the site though).Oakland Athletics - Missing most of the 1960's-1986 eras. Also missing the new Road cap logo and the new green alt jersey script/logo.Detroit Tigers - Missing the road wordmark/script from the raod jerseys from the 1970's-early 1990's era.Arizona Diamondbacks - Missing the scripts from the BP black jersey from 1998 & 1999. 1998 had "Diamond" in purple and "Backs" in teal, while 1999 had both in purple. These are in the jersey section, though.St Louis Cardinals - Various ones missing from the past.Milwaukee Braves - Cap logos and scripts from jerseys.Los Angeles Dodgers - Cap logo from the current BP set. The blue BP jersey logos from the late 90's to mid 2000's.By the way, I hope I don't sound ungrateful or unappreciative listing this. I love the work on this site and am very thankful somebody takes the time to provide us with this kind of info on and about something we all love and respect - baseball uniforms. Just trying to help out.

Gothamite
The MLB fixed all of those Brooklyn cap marks...will post soon.Really?? That's good to hear. How long ago did that happen? Have they fixed the NY Giants stuff too? They pretty much fixed everything that was wrong for every team.Back to 1900. Recreated every uniform script, cap mark and sleeve patch.Anything I don't have now, is due to trademark issues...if the MLB couldn't secure a trademark for it (older logos and scripts usually), it was not included.I'll be posting as much as I can on my own site in the near future - I'm in the middle of rebuilding my site right now...should be up in a week or so.Just realized - is that why this logo has finally made a comeback after decades of obscurity? The one listed as the 1970-77 primary on the mothership is wrong. They almost never used the Barrelman alone, it certainly wasn't the primary. And look at the angle - in the 1990s, when MLB was putting its digital files together, some designer fixed the angle so that his left foot was level; that's how the original version was back in the 1940s, but from 1966-1977 he was at that funny angle pitched forward. It's especially noticeable on the motion lines around his bat. Anyway, I was shocked to see that tshirt available and immediately bought four of them. If they're finally correcting those digital files, it makes sense the proper logo has finally resurfaced on merchandise. Quote The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. Gehrig27
Hmm, makes sense now. I was also wondering why a 1906 Yankees logo randomly ended up on a t-shirt. Quote http://yankeesuniformdatabase.blogspot.com/
