FiddySicks
For the first time in my life, the Giants sweep in Atlanta!REALLY impressed with how this team is playing so far. Tim Hudson has been absolutely lights out for the Giants, and Michael Morse is exactly what that lineup needed to infuse a little power into it. The way he's been working with Posey and Pablo has made all the difference so far. Hopefully they can keep this up! Cain is out again tonight, so hopefully Petit can repeat his performance from last week. It seems weird that the team was very reliant on the solo home run this week mostly. That can't last so they will need to find other ways to score. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion
FiddySicks
Yeah yeah yeah, I know. Power rankings, especially in May, are dumb. But this still makes me SO happy. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article/mlb/giants-and-as-ranked-1-2-in-mlbcom-power-rankings?cid=as_mlb_20140505_11157934&content_id=74382484&vkey=news_mlb&ymd=20140505I hope they can both keep this up! CS85
Jeff Samardzija - 9 IP, 126 pitches, the Cubs only hit and only RBI. He'll get a no-decision unless the Cubs somehow win it here in the 9th, which they won't. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. TheGiantsFan
Very long East Coast games still ongoing at the time of this post, with Giants tied 10-10 with the Pirates in the 13th and the Nationals/Dodgers game in the 6th inning after a rain delay in Washington. Well past midnight by now in the East.EDIT: Giants are up 11-10 now after a crazy series of events with pitcher Jean Machi hitting a bunt that ended up scoring Pence. Machi ended up stealing a base afterwards. Very crazy game. BEHANCE | PORTFOLIO

This is how impossible this record is. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

Among them are larger talent pool, specialists are more prevalent today so a guy who's 0 for 3 has to face his third pitcher of the game instead of the starter for the fourth time, and there's more scouting. TheGiantsFan
Another crazy 2014 Giants game; today's game ended with an overturned instant replay call concerning a play at home. It went in favor of the Pirates and resulted in what has to be the first walkoff win as a result of an overturned replay call.In other words, the replays have kinda killed the Giants in this early season. Sandoval is off to a terrible start(like .171 so far this year). His act of hitting into double plays and swinging at horrid pitches has worn thin, and maybe we should thinking about cutting ties with him soon. Also here's an insane stat: Tulo is 18 of 21 with RISP at Coors this year. Not a misprint. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion

Tigers6884
My beloved Detroit Tigers are rolling in the American League Central. Even though they are the only team in the division above .500, I still believe their record indicates that this could be the year that they bring back the World Series championship to Detroit. Once again we'll hear the roar from '84. And this time they'll win…
