What was? A report? A rumor? Wishful thinking from a pullover-obsessed poster?

I think you're missing a few words in your original sentence.

Ignore the story where Chris used PantomDreamer as a source, and focus on the real story.

There's not a story there.

I say Tampa. Because either they will finally get that stadium in Tampa or that they will leave the area for some place else. There's only so long a team can stay where they are failing at the gates. Either way, I believe they get an overhaul.

Unpopular Opinion Yet Plausible:

Oakland.

I hate everything about their identity. And from what I can gather, I'm not alone (!).

Really? Oakland has probably the most solid look in baseball IMO. There are certainly elements they've eroded away lately (one helmet for home and road, ditching the all green road cap with the gold A's logo for the monstrosity they have now, the new green jersey, (which has actually grown on me somewhat)), but their home look is damn near perfect. Adding the yellow jersey and BP cap only made that look better, too.

I'm curious as to what you'd like to see them do.

I dislike their road hat (and the whole concept of road hats), and I wish they wore a lighter shade of green, but the fundamentals of what they have are good.

You raise a good point, but it will be awhile before they do. I would see San Diego and possibly the Rockies overhaul long before Tampa does.

It'll be Cleveland. Now that the Redskins are going the way of the dodo, it'll only be a matter of time. The anti-Redskins crowd is already gearing up to take on their next crusade, and it looks like from what I've read that Cleveland is it.

They are already Getting rid of chief wahoo slowly, that's the only thing that is a problem with them.

You don't have to read beyond the headline before it becomes self-evident that there isn't much of a "story" there.

I'd like to see the Marlins re-overhauled again. Their new look is horrible in my opinion.

Realistically, the Padres are long overdue. The Rays need a stronger identity. The Brewers need to return to their identity like the Padres.

Yawn. Then they'll attack the Oakland Athletics for using an endangered animal that's also used by the GOP.

As for Cleveland, done:

All of the newly-added teams (I'm old so they're new to me) need to return to their original colors.

D-Backs as mentioned.

Marlins to teal.

Rays to colors not navy blue and the sea creature is much better than a ray of sunshine. Might as well have My Little Pony as a mascot while we're at it. This was their best look:

Rockies have stayed close to their roots but don't lose the purple.

Arizona Diamondbacks

(hopefully)

Their colors are dull and to me their uniforms already look dated. It's time for the Dbacks to start over, preferably with purple and teal again

Are you kidding me, purple and teal look even more dated. The purple and teal should be left in the '90s.

But it's a Southwestern color scheme so it works for them. They also won the WS in those colors.

Funny, I don't see the hatred for that color scheme in the Hornets thread. Everyone is going crazy over teal and purple in there.

Solid look:

Because the new Hornets look dated too right?
