FiddySicks
So... This whole Lebron to the Lakers experiment is looking pretty damn rough right about now. I'm not quite sure how they're going to pull out of this one. Maybe it's a good thing he wasn't eligible for a NTC in his contract? The Six
Lebron didn't go to the Lakers to win. He went there to make movies and promote his brand. That was obvious from the day he signed with them. If he wanted to win he would have gone to a team that actually had a good core in place. In more important news, the Clippers are going all in for AD or this summer's free agency. Probably both. And the Sixers really, really look good now. DG_ThenNowForever
This is a lost season for LeBron, and that it was always going to be a throwaway for him. Certainly once he missed 5 weeks and the team fell apart without him. If they don't get AD this week, James should shut it down for the rest of the year, let the young guys be who they are, and try again with new teammates in Fall 2019. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

tigerslionspistonshabs
So the Pistons have turned Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson into Thon Maker and some guy from the Lakers who I've never heard of and whose name I can't pronounce. Solid day.

Solid day. DET traded a 22 year old bust for a guy who may really be two years older with poor hands, little coordination and basically played against middle schoolers before being drafted in 2016. Hey, that's "solid".
Digby
Philly getting Tobias Harris could be huge. On the one hand, this doesn’t solve their bench problem and it’s a little odd fit to have Harris next to Butler/as a third? fourth? option at all. But then again, GSW seems to make it work, so. It’s worth a shot. Not sure anyone else in the East will be able to keep pace with Milwaukee and Toronto at this point, though. Giannis for president. alxy8s
The Heat are officially retiring Chris Bosh’s jersey in March. He’s owed $27M in salary this year. He has got to be the first player to have his number retired while still being on payroll.

He had four years left on his contract. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hornets-retire-phills-no-13/ Reggie Lewis was on the payroll and counted against the cap at the time of his number retirement ceremony. Lewis was to be in the third year of his five year contract. I think the same was the case for Malik Sealy. Drazen Petrovic died when he was a RFA. Digby
That’s nice about Bosh. It seemed like things ended on bad terms there so I’m glad they have apparently buried the hatchet. Hated those Heat teams, but loved that guy. Fan Style ShirtsShowcasing fan-made sports apparel by artists and designers
Wings
Even with an idiotic owner and front office the Kings could be on the cusp of the playoffs and they just acquired Harrison Barnes. Warriors-Kings in the first round would be entertaining and an easy commute for both.
FiddySicks
Holy :censored:, the Pelicans just went absolutely scorched earth and probably tanked what’s left of the Lakers season in the process. https://deadspin.com/report-the-pelicans-invented-a-new-kind-of-tampering-a-1832415741 It seems insane, because what free agent in their right mind would want to go to New Orleans after this? But nobody wanted to go there anyway, so why not? And honestly, this probably serves the Lakers and Lebron right. They thought they could just strong arm the Pelicans because they’re the Lakers, and the Pelicans just responded with a giant :censored: you and kamikaze’d their plane directly into the bridge of the Lakers destroyer. That’s amazing. This also may be the only real way smaller market teams can counter some of the BS these larger market teams are doing. It may not work long term, but I’m damn sure it’ll get the NBA’s attention. This kind of thing is why the NBA is the greatest league in the country. So they get nothing in return, and now will never sign another big free agent after seeing how petty they are. I say they lost this round especially in the long run. That said, it seems that Gayle Benson is just neglecting the franchise in preparation for Davis' eventual departure and she'll sell and the team will move so she can fully focus on the Saints and a new stadium, because they're pouring $200M into the Superdome every eight years or so.
