I love the lighter blue, they should definitely stick with that for a long time. The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. AJM Posted January 11, 2011 Author Share Posted January 11, 2011 It looks like that billboard is photoshopped.But anyways...Best sponser name ever!Was expecting Panasonic, but the last few days it seemed like Bimbo would be the final sponsor...that said, this totally doesn't fit and would be better suited for Chivas USA, since their Mexican counterpart has Bimbo as the main kit sponsor. It just seems forced.A few weeks back The Don mentioned that all teams will have kit sponsors this season...I wonder if teams that did not secure deals on their own were given sponsorships via the league. Seems like the Timbers worked with a sponsor based in their region on a strategic partnership and kit deal. Looking at the Union jersey makes me feel like they didn't have a deal and place whereas the league was working with Bimbo (Grupo Bimbo, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grupo_Bimbo) and said okay, we're putting on the Union kits.I've grown up watching soccer and eating Bimbo snacks, but they don't seem to mesh on this kit. Should be interesting to see other teams future sponsor announcements.
