The OLD Peyton will be missed, but not this 40-year old shell of his former self. Happy for him in his future endeavors. He's been rumored to have been retiring forever. He's played terribly all season. He was a tag-along in a dominant defense's title run, of which he is the benefactor. He will subsequently retire into the miserable life of being an established & powerful multi-millionaire who can take any job he desires at any level, be it media or coaching, and get paid further millions to do so. Respect the man's career - he changed the QB position forever & may go down as the best ever - but let's not exactly weep inconsolably. He'll shed some tears, but there's no doubt he's got another 20-30 years of spotlight left in him. He's going to be on your televisions just as much if not more now. IMO, still to be sad how a legend says goodbye

FiddySicks
He's gonna totally try and come back around training camp, only for Denver to say, nah, we've moved on to Osweiler. Then he's gonna get traded to San Francisco, send some pics of his butthole to a trainer, and end up playing another two years after that in Oakland while Derrick Carr sits on the bench looking super dejected. FiddySicks
Solid presser from Manning today. The NFL sure won't be the same without him screaming Omaha every week. Hopefully we we get to see Marshall Manning looking overly serious while checking down and setting up the play at the line of scrimmage while screaming LINCOLN! LINCOLN! some day. Dalcowboyfan92
With The Sheriff's retirement; the city of Omaha, Nebraska weeps. But, Peyton gave his guts out to the game he loved, and played great football for nearly 2 decades. A first ballot Hall of Famer, he could get very close to being an unanimous selection. Like Ken Griffey Jr. was (pretty much) in this past Baseball Hall of Fame ballot.
Crabcake
Seems like Philly is doing its best to get far, far away from the Chip Kelly era.
BBTV
Byron Maxwell was a total stiff who pocketed 10s of millions because he happened to play on an amazing defense. Kiko Alonzo is always hurt and had no heart when he actually did play. Total Chip Kelly guy - actually the guy they traded Lesean McCoy straight up for. This is great. I don't care what they get in return, they need to rid themselves of these guys that Kelly brought in. Too bad they kept his QB. Dynasty
If Miami keeps Vernon, I'm not sure if they'll be able to retain Wake. It's like one of those "can't keep them both" situations. He's also getting up there in age and will likely be too much to afford. As for the possible Eagles' acquisitions... meh.
BBTV
LOLeague Sources saying that it's the Eagles 1st (12 or 13), Alonzo, and Maxwell for Dolphins 1st (8). Very likely not true but If it is I'll toss Howie Roseman's salad. Dalcowboyfan92
1st round for 1st rounder seems fair. Philadelphia and Miami are not that far apart in the first round; Philly can sneak up to nab a player they're coveting that could go within the Top 10 picks. 1st round pick for 1st round picks are usually fair trade chips for both sides TBH.
