A Big10 championship game would be the perfect place to rock something like this.

That could only happen with future conference/divisional realignment.  Michigan and Ohio State are both in the Big Ten East.

Man, this 1970's-style matchup would be sweet:

It'd be a bit of an eyesore (teal vs. orange), but an entertaining eyesore.

Nah, not an eyesore. Not unless the Miami Dolphins are eyesores anyway...

Creamsicle Bucs vs. Modern-day Cardinals

Only because this was supposed to be the Bucs' throwback game for 2013, which I had tickets for, but the NFL announced the one-helmet rule in the week leading up to it.

But in all seriousness, I think modern Vikings vs. 1998-2003 Jags would look pretty nice.

At the end of the 2007 season I was wanting the Redskins to wear their 1970 throwback vs the Cowboys with their "Thanksgiving" specials (blue double star jersey, white helmets, and white pants).

That'd be a nice-looking game. You're talking about the Lombardi-inspired set, right?

Yep. I just wish that set would have had burgundy jerseys instead of the Gibbs-standard white ones.

How has a color-vs-color matchup not happened here yet?

Not bad, has enough contrast to work.  I'd be all for it despite the fact its not traditional.
