This was once true, but now? FlexFit caps fit WAY better than the New Era "Flex" versions (Pretty sure those are all under the 39Thirty model). I wear a 7 5/8 and the newer versions of FlexFit caps fit wonderfully. The New Era flex caps still fit like trash.

What kind of flexfit caps fit you?

I started wearing them a few years ago for work and was actually really surprised how much I grew to love them. I used to absolutely loathe the way they fit. But I’ve gotten a few that have broken in better than any other caps I own and I have an absolutely STUPID amount of 59Fiftys.

Some fit really weird, can’t deny that.

This is particular style, though? It’s basically all I wear now.

I went through a box of these when I worked for Fish and Game and ended up making a few for the soccer gig on some blanks I ordered. Nobody but FlexFit really does the mesh backed flex caps all that well other than them. Nike puts out a few straight dreadful attempts and New Era’s just fit snug like regular 39Thirtys.

New Era offers caps in "flex", which just means a somewhat-stretchable cap in S/M, M/L, and L/XL sizes.

If you have a head larger than 7 1/2, they're not good.  Neither are the Flexfit brand caps.

*Raises hand*

Size 8 here...the L/XL fits great for me.  Maybe you guys just have alien like heads 😂

That's a 39Thirty, which I mentioned earlier but was told that's not what is being discussed.

When you guys say "FlexFit", what are you speaking of?  The 3930s?  These are the New Era hats that come in S-M, M-L, or L-XL with curved bill and slightly smaller logo?

No, those are New Era 39Thirty Caps, which fit awful (at least on my big ol noggin). I mean specifically the FlexFit brand caps.

Ok, so we are talking about the 39thirtys afterall.

That took a week and a half to clear up :)

I would never wear that grey trucker flexfit hat above.

Yeah they’re usually pretty quiet.

This weird angle shows that a Brewers wordmark with a glass of beer replacing one of the letters would be awesome.

This is their best non-retro jersey and they even manage to ruin that by being lazy and having that weird yellow blob.

I'm normally against teams wearing alternates in the playoffs, but f--k it. If the A's win, I think it's time to start the movement.

#BringBacktheKelly

If there is one team that can get a pass for wearing something that isn't their traditional white and grays, it's this team. And with it being Kelly Green, even better!

Go A's!

The A's Kelly set is ok, but their home uniform, especially with the darker green, is probably the best uniform in the entire league.

I can see that, but Kelly needs to come back full-time. What have the A's become in Forest Green? One title that was thirty years ago, playing in a stadium ruined by the now-departing Raiders (who never should have come back), and never winning an advance-or-go-home game. It's stuck around for so long, yet they have so little to show for it compared to the '70s Kelly. It's so much "happier" than the other. They can keep the home script, but switching in the Kelly just makes the whole identity better (well, also have a white elephant in their logo).

A great look is a great look. The kelly is fun but the dark green is simply superior IMO.
