SFGiants58
Yeah, maybe I was too hasty in my judgement. I’m happy the Lions didn’t fold like the Browns did and that at least one snakebit team remains. I still stand by the Stat Padford name though, because it’s funny more than it is accurate. 3 Quote MLB: Project 32 (Complete), MLB: The Defunct Saga (Complete)

habsfan1
Nice win for the Lions. I wasn't expecting them to eliminate the former champs this early.

As the archetype of a mediocre (at best) poster, I'm offended by the very notion that he may some day reach this level. I'd say that he's striving for terrible, because where we're at right now is not even measurable on the current scale. If it was, he'd have the same ratings as the Cowboys, since their logo is actually a rating - a 1-star rating: 2 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." Sport
America's Team in that America loves to watch them lose playoff games. It's my favorite annual tradition. Also thought this was funny. 10 hours ago, Dynasty said: New longest playoff win drought: Miami Dolphins The Lions win also means the new belt holder for longest drought without advancing in the playoffs in North American sports belongs to the Cincinnati Reds (1995). The Bengals held that title for like a decade and now it's on to our crappy baseball team. Maybe this is the year. 9 hours ago, Unocal said: Jordan Love is Tim Tebow. One. Year. Wonder. By adding a 7 seed, you've rewarded mediocrity. Your takes don't even make sense. The Packers were the first 7 seed to win a game in the new system and I think they proved that they belong. BBTV
Ironically, there's more upset Cowboys fans that have never even been to Texas than there are Cowboys fans in the Dallas area. While they certainly have a home-field advantage (though the Lions should have won there, regardless of what some folks say), their games against any well-followed team are split 50/50 at best . Yesterday was at least 50/50 Packers crowd, and so are their games against Phila, Buf, Pit, and other teams with similarly-rabid fanbases. They're one notch above LA, LV, and the Florida teams. 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed."
