Watch this season come full circle as we get a Chiefs-Lions Super Bowl. They kicked off the season.

It could very well be the case.  Kansas City hasn't looked great all year, but their postseason success is the reason I don't count them out when the postseason started.

Well Green Bay's kicker won't be on the flight back to Wisconsin.

Even if they didn't void his ticket, he'd probably miss the flight.

He's a rookie that they figured would grow into the job. They didn't expect that his failures this year would matter so much.

Oops.

Heckuva year. Can't wait for next season.

It's where I sit.

He needed to keep the drive going there. If it was downfield it needed to be in front of him.

It was a first down with two timeouts and 50 seconds left.

At that point chuck it out of bounds and live to fight another down.

And he had open space to his right to buy time. Run it out of bounds, etc. He panicked. It's really that simple.

49ers-Ravens: are you ready for some Discourse?

Which no. I am not. I cannot handle that level of Discourse. We need the winner of Chiefs-Bills to win and prevent critical amounts of Discourse.

I wouldn’t write off the Bucs that easily, but the Lions’ path to the conference isn’t as arduous as once perceived.

I mean, the Ravens playing any of the remaining NFC QB’s is gonna produce discourse. I think Brock’s recent struggles/Baker and Goff’s occasional issues should indicate that the discourse is goofy fodder only Zombie Deadspin would accept.

We are better off ignoring what Zombie Deadspin says and just laughing at the idea of anybody snatching the MVP from Jackson.

I don't know how they're gonna get by the Eagles, but the Lions, who are eschewing wunderkind-coach conventions by just having a big loud dumb guy tell everyone to try hard, have all the makings of a team that gets to the Super Bowl and loses. It's like the football version of the Doin' It All With A Hot Goalie.

When you're right you're right.

I almost don't want to watch the Bills game tomorrow. Especially when Detroit wins. One road team should win this weekend and I can't take it if it's KC again.

So, it’s all of my friends’ favorite team (Niners), vs either the Lions or my dumbass team. I’m cool with that!

Somehow, Kansas City is gonna ruin this.

Just gotta hope that the 49ers figure out what was malfunctioning tonight and get back to their regular season form. Especially in the playoffs, though, I'm just happy to see my team win. That's the most important thing, everything else comes after that.
