Yards are yards regardless. Who cares if it’s first and 5 or fist and

BBTV
4 minutes ago, dont care said: Yeah I have a co-worker who has virtually never watched football. Me and another guy try so hard to explain it to him, then he’ll say something like “what is keeping them from throwing it again after they catch it” as an example and you got to explain why he can’t, then he’ll see someone lateral and you have to explain why they can do that and so on. Trying to explain what is a catch took about 2 hours. "you fumble here, this happens. You fumble here, that happens. You fumble through the end zone, and... well, you won't believe this..." "if you tackle like this, it's cool, but if you wrap like this, it's not, if you put your weight on him then it's bad, except in some cases when it's OK, but there's other cases where it's real bad." Try explaining PI! But IMO the clock things are the most arbitrary and frustrating, because at least the other rules stay consistently inconsistent for the whole game, but the fact that the clock rules change is ridiculous. College may be worse, with the clock stopping on a first down, but at least they don't have the 2-minute warning, which also makes no sense. Oh, and explain spiking it - "well, if you intentionally throw the ball away when you're in this area, then it's 'grounding', unless you intentionally spike it into the ground, then it's ok, and it's also fine if you move three yards to the left, but only if your intentionally bad pass goes a certain distance" Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." Who cares if it’s first and 5 or fist and 10 Believe it or not, before that happened, I thought "they should take a 5-yard penalty here". 1st and 5 makes it much easier for KC to get a first down and work the clock. Intentionally taking a penalty resets it to 1st and 10 without taking any time off the clock. Those 5 yards are meaningless in that case. Good decision... horrible way for that dope to do it. tBBP
Wepl, guess it's up to either San Francisco or Detroit to save the entire rest of the world outside of the I-29/I-49 corridor from even more of the Taylor Swift Era[s]... There are people out there who if the 49ers win the NFC Championship want to see the Chiefs win so that Kyle Shanahan can never erase 28-3. He's definitely the most important player on his team and keeps them going (and I wouldn't be against him winning the MVP). But I've said it before... he's a terrible passer. If you want to be a Super Bowl winning quarterback, you have to be able to effectively pass the ball on a consistent basis and he just can't see to do it. Also relies too much on his athleticism. Props to Kansas City's defense, but this has been the issue with Lamar Jackson for years, outside of his occasional season-ending injuries. FiddySicks
I don’t really see the Lions hanging with the Niners today, but I’m Ngl, I kinda think either of these NFC teams can beat Kansas City. Fowler2
Losing DC DeMeco Ryans to the Texans has hurt the 49ers the most. Adjusting to Steve Wilks has been an issue.
