The NHL always took preventive measures to ensure that they did. During the EDGE and adidas switchover, teams were not allowed to have alternate jerseys to handle production. Home+away for 30 and then 31 teams is a lot easier when you're not worried about alts. 1 Quote Formerly known as DiePerske
bob95
I feel like the cardinals have had this problem before. Not having the baby blue jerseys until a few weeks into the season.

They can have 5 uniforms under the 4+1. All they’d have to do would be to shelve the red or navy (or both) and they could reintroduce either of those. They could also pull a Seattle or Tampa Bay and ditch their road gray jerseys. I wouldn't want them to do that, but it wouldn't be unheard of. Wasn't this a problem with MLB during Covid? I remember supply chain issues kept some teams from having some uniforms And the Eagles had to wear black for a couple games because Nike couldn't figure out how to make their dark green 2 Quote Sorry, I'm on an iPad

It's so gimmicky and I hate it. It was novel in 2007, but it looks extremely 2007 now. It's got all the superfluous flourishes, dialed up to 11, completely unrestrained hallmarks that Brandiose became known for. To make this worse is that using the faux 1870's number font means they're not using their perfect block font. 6
Sodboy13
I love how that numeral font is just different enough to be "the Reds" on sight without any of the bespoke bullcrap we've seen on so many modified block numerals in the NFL. Now that the "temporary" move to Sacramento is official, my guess on the A's 2025 uniforms is this: No change to the home whites, the road grays get the "Athletics" script across the front instead of "Oakland," the kelly green jerseys get mothballed, and the still-active yellow alts get pulled out of storage. Like everything involving the Fisher A's, the bare minimum will be done. 9 Quote On 1/25/2013 at 1:53 PM, 'Atom said: For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Seeing as this relocation is only short-term, I'd bet anything the "new" A's uniforms will be half-assed and bare bones. At least this move will provide plenty of fodder for the Concepts forum, though.

BBTV
Did they say if they’re keeping the Oakland A’s name, or if they’re the Las Vegas A’s (of Sacramento), or the Sacramento A’s? Also… I thought there were snags in the LV deal and it was still far from a done deal. 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." namefornamesake
The Athletics uniforms will stand pat for the next three years in Sacramento (sans Oakland, of course), and when the team arrives in Vegas they will likely choose to either pivot fully to kelly green once again and put out a 70's-era look or go old NYJ-green and metallic-gold and take on a casino-inspired identity. bob95
When they go to Sacramento I think the A’s will completely drop there grey and Kelly green uniforms as well as there hats that go with each. Then they will keep there white jersey at home and the yellow jersey will come back for all road games. This would leave the A’s with 1 hat, and 2 jerseys and pants. The absolute bare minimum with no need to create anything new. 2
