The “Skyray” could end up being one of the better logos to come out of the City Connect program.

Meanwhile, here’s a possible Guardians City Connect leak:

Ooh that Skyray looks clever.

Btw it looks like MLB dropped the 2024 postseason (including World series) logos here:

LOL that's the last bracket the Braves want to see!

I mean, we all kind of knew that Cleveland is going with "The Land" theme.... I'm just hoping they're better than the stupid jerseys the Cavs wore when they did. Stupid gray monstrosities.

All jokes to the side, this may form the basis of a pretty nice full-on rebrand...to include the Skyrays nickname...

the 60s drive-thru-inspired original branding

I have never once heard that the Tampa Bay Devil Rays were inspired by '60s drive-thrus.

Yeah I always gotten more of an 80s vapor wave vibe from them.

I like the Mets City Connects from the waist up. Think they definitely should have gone with gray pants with pins.

That helmet needs a rework, though. The bridge has no business being that pronounced or that light in color. You can barely see it on the cap (which is probably why I like it).

Let me clarify: I don't mean that it was that...that's just what it always looked like to me. (And that's only because it's the closest thing I can think of to what I actually think but have never really been able to put into words to...)

I actually found a screenshot of said Mariners look from when I was playing Road to the show.

As much as I’d love this, Kevin Martinez (senior VP of marketing & comms) has pretty much already ruled it out. They seem content with the black pants, and from what I’ve seen the reaction from M’s fans over the last year hasn’t been so overwhelmingly negative towards the pants that the organization would feel inclined to change (not that they’d care, anyways). I will say, though, if they ever did switch the pants from black to white or cream, I’d want them to switch the brim on the hats from black to yellow or blue.

Speaking of the Mariners, they’ve received their Sunday cream uniforms and will be wearing them for the first time this season this afternoon.

Non-binary create-a-player having the time of their life wearing the bad Mariners logo!

Major League Baseball plans to address its uniform fiasco after changes this spring to the standard jerseys and pants led to widespread complaints from players and fans, according to a memo obtained Sunday night by ESPN.

The most prominent modifications include a return to larger lettering on the back of jerseys, remedying mismatched grey tops and bottoms, and addressing the new Nike jersey's propensity to collect sweat, according to the memo distributed to players by the MLB Players Association on Sunday.

The changes, which will happen at the latest by the beginning of the 2025 season, will also include fixes to the pants, widely panned this spring for being see-through.

The union informed players of the coming changes in a letter that placed the blame on Nike and the debut of its Vapor Premier uniform, which was advertised for its superior performance but remains disliked by players.

"This has been entirely a Nike issue," the memo to players said. "At its core, what has happened here is that Nike was innovating something that didn't need to be innovated."
