FiddySicks
Pads up 9-5 in the bottom of the ninth against the Dodgers. they go on to give up Back to Back to Back to Back homeruns. 9-9, then they lose it in the 10th 11-10. God the NL west is a sad sad division.Dissection of the most embarrassing moment in Padres history On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) See Red
You're right. The NL West is a crazy, crazy division.Did you see the game where the Rockies and D-Backs were tied at one heading into the ninth... The D-Backs scored, I think, eight in the top of the ninth, and the Rockies scored seven in the bottom half of the inning, stranding the winning run on first to lose by one? The_Admiral
One team's pathetic moment is another team's glorious comeback. Shouldn't the most pathetic moment in baseball history be something that besmirches the integrity of the sport itself? That drama queen manager from Single-A was pathetic. This was just Los Angeles showing that they could hit well. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

DEAD!
... well Florida was up by 4 runs in bottom of the 10th on Sunday and let Atlanta score 5 runs. THAT was pathetic. I saw, I came, I left.
HurricaneDavid
Giving up homeruns is not pathetic. WAY too much blame is put on the pitcher/defense when they give up a homerun.Back to back to back to back ERRORS to give up a lead, however, WOULD be pathetic. The only people who will remember this game for the Padres blowing a big lead are Padres fans. Everyone else will remember it as an amazing comeback by the Dodgers.Oh, and of course, those Dodgers are in the NL West.
FiddySicks
Ehhhh, I guess I just call it pathetic because of my extreme dislike for the Dodgers. I was more disgusted than anything last night after it happened, but im bias so of course I would be. I think it won the West for the Dodgers now the Padres have to get off the ropes and see if they can hold on to Wild Card. Actually, checking the standings and whatnot, the Padres are still in 1st place for one. I would also like to add that in the NL West, NO team has yet been eliminated from winning the division. In fact, it's not even close, the Rox & D'Backs would need a miracle, yes, but it's still possible. Just amazing how the NL West has been this year. Shumway
I think it's pretty pathetic that Chone Figgins hits for the cycle(As his bobblehead nods at me as I type this), and the Angels score 6 runs on 14 hits, and manage to lose to the Rangers. We even had Lackey on the mound....criiiiipes!Pathetic, especially when in the midst of a division race, although we're lagging.
