Stampman
Not necessarily a legend, but a fan favorite...Darren McCarty, Calgary Flames.Oddly enough, I'm wearing my McCarty Flames t-shirt right now.I have no problem with that look--he was one of their best players in the playoffs that year. rtrich11
Terry Metcalf - Toronto Argonauts:Nothing wrong with that--that's how I remember him. When was he with the Argos? Was it a situation where money lured him, or something that he did as his career winded down to keep playing? TalktoChuck
Matt HollidayNot quite a legend, although he'll always be remembered here for his face plant slide into the world series. And it crushed many people when he left.

It wasn't as a big a deal then as it has since become (The NFL's money making), but there was still a big difference. In the 60's & before the NFL wasn't there yet & the CFL could compete--but in the 70's some teams got foolish--and nearly derailed the CFL in the process. JayJaxon
I dunno about the Rickey Henderson one. After all, he did win the World Series with the Jays. That's more than he can say for a handful of other teams he played for.
joshhockey
That's true but he did only play for the Jays for less than half a year.
