TFoA
Sweep! Take that Mets and your All-Star pitcher.Indeed. Santana had a great outing, but Old Man Smoltzie outpitched him for the 5 innings he was out there, (and pitching with a sore shoulder nonetheless). After 6 games and a sweep of the Mets, I'm feeling pretty good about this year's team thus far. But, baseball's a marathon. Who knows what's gonna happen at this point and moving on into the summer months.

FiddySicks
So after watching the Giants get absolutely shelled yesterday I am seriously wondering if they are bad enough to compete with the 2003 Tigers and snag themselves 120+ losses. I mean seriously, this team is absolutely dreadful. What a fall from grace they have had in the last few years. What a fall from grace they have had in the last few years. You can't blame them for getting shelled yesterday... well, maybe you can blame Zito for giving up those homers. Still, better men have went down to Sheets' pitching looking like fools. He had his A-game, like when he was giving Soriano fits in the opener.Don't worry, 1/27th of the way through the season and you have more wins than the Tigers. infrared41
How in the hell does Joe Borowski keep a spot on a major league roster? Better yet, how in the hell did that guy lead the league in saves last year? I think the game winning bomb Torii Hunter just hit off Borowski landed somewhere in the Pacific Ocean...if at all. It may be in orbit. The Indians can forget winning it all as long as that rag-armed stiff is their closer.
leopard88
Somehow explain to me how the Nationals drew just over 20,000 to the SECOND game at their brand-new stadium. That is just ridiculous.
