Brady shouldn't be in the top 10. No way in Hell. If Peyton Manning had half the team(and scheme, and willingness to cheat) that Brady has, he'd have seven rings by now. Hell, that goes for several other quarterbacks in the league right now. Eli Manning, Carson Palmer, Donovan McNabb and Brett Favre; just to name a few off the top of my head.

As you can tell, I never punched my ticket to the Brady Bandwagon.

Sigs are for sissies.

I don't like saying it but I disagree. Manning has had a solid team around him for years. I think Brady would have done just as well with Manning's team. Brady does deserve to be mentioned in the top ten. What more does the guy have to do? That is like saying Montana doesn't deserve to be mentioned on that list because his teams were great.

Brady is better than every QB you mentioned in your rant. He's one of the all-time greats. Deal with it. And as I have mentioned before, I am no fan of Boston sports but facts are facts.

Before 2007, I probably wouldn't have put Tom Brady in my Top 10 since his regular season numbers weren't exactly spectacular. But after the sick numbers he put up last year and leading the Pats to an undefeated regular season, you almost have to include him among the ten best QBs of all-time.

However, I don't put Brady anywhere near Brett Favre's class ... not yet at least.

Well, I guess it comes down to this: Who would you take in a winner-take-all situation?

Brady right now, or Favre when he was winning 3 straight MVPs?

I'd honestly take Brady.

It's hard to say because Brett Favre never had the weapons on offense that Brady and the Patriots currently possess.

Just imagine the insane numbers Favre would have put up in the mid-late 90s if he had a player the caliber of Randy Moss playing on his team.

There is no way anyone of sound mind and body can say that they'd take Favre over Brady in a one-game winner-take-all situation. I'm not a Brady mark by any stretch of the imagination, but to suggest that all other things being equal, and considering this is 2008, that you'd take Favre, is borderline lunacy.

I assumed TOFA was talking about Tom Brady of today vs. Brett Favre in his prime, not present-day Favre.

If you're talking 2008, you have to go with Brady, no doubt. I'm not that biased. ^_^

I think Brad Johnson might challenge Dilfer for that title :P .... though Johnson probably had a better offence

Now of course I'd be the one to jump in on this one

That Tampa team's offense was FAR superior to Baltimore's. They had Keyshawn, McCardell, Alstott, Dilger, Pittman...... I'm stretching now, but you get the point :P

But I'm also of the feeling that the defense was a bit better than the Ravens as well (yeah, stretch, whatever). Therefore, 02 Bucs > 00 Ravens :P

God I can't wait for football.

lol. Of course you would say their defense was better than the 00 Ravens.

But IIRC, the Ravens went 5 weeks without scoring a touchdown, and somehow managed to win 2 of those games. Any other team in history would've went o-fer during that period. That is redamndiclous.
