Cujo
Where is the Favre bashing going to get anyone two f'ing games out of the season he has a bad game and if anyone expected this season out him is lying to themselves. It's a joke. The real joke has been Minnesota's schedule thus far. Wins against the Browns, Lions twice, 49ers, Rams, Ravens, Packers twice, Seahwaks, Bears. That's the primary reason why they're 10-1, now 10-2.Nobody in the NFC North can help their scheduleOkay. Outside of their division.... Browns, 49ers, Rams, Ravens, Seahwaks. That looks just as pathetic.

It's a joke.I'll try my best to respond. Brett Farve is, without a doubt, a future Hall of Famer. He is a great talent. That being said, his constant "will I or won't I retire?" routine after every season, his prima donna exit from Green Bay, and his just general treatment of the NFL as his own soap opera have worn thin. Not only that, but the media seems to encourage this. The experts fawn over him, overplay his accomplishments, rewrite history to make him look like the victim of the Green Bay situation, and never blame him for any of the mistakes he makes. It's always the o-line, the receivers, or the coaches. It's the Vikings "being hit hard at one position" or the other team playing at extraordinary levels. It's never Farve's fault, even when it is. The media treats him like a sacred cow, and more then a few people are getting, or have been, tired of it. It's a shame, it really is, because he is a great talent. He's just wearing thin on peoples' nerves, and he's partly to blame for that. He loves the game too much and you can't take that a way from him the whole situation just gets me so mad I may be a Packer fan but I will always have a spot for Brett Favre with me he was my favorite player growing up. IceCap
I don't have to learn to deal with anything of the sort. The media needs to stop treating him like he's God`s gift to the quarterback position. It's downright embarrassing to see grown men, proclaimed experts of their sport, fawning over someone like this. If he truly was the best of all time, sure. I could understand that. He's not though. Also, I'm not trying to take away his "love of the game." He can play as long as he wants. I rather he just say at the end of season "yeah, I`m good for another season" rather then this drawn out "will I or won't I" affair. Henderson going down, I wonder if this is the beginning of the other shoe dropping on the Vikings, as it always seems to do every time they flirt with a great season. twi
Am I the only one still disgusted about what Vick did?Absolutely not. I can't understand how he could be cheered like that. He and Ray Lewis, the only time I ever root for an ACL blowout. Sidenote: Goddam Chris Berman is annoying.

FiddySicks
Well it's questionable play calling and offensive lineman injuries I don't think that's Brett's fault. And I'm just going to say this now E.J. Henderson is the most underrated linebacker in the game.Well, he was. That was one of the worst leg injuries I've seen in a long time. I was wrong. I thought his knee went. DarkJourney
Is there a less relevant division in major pro sports than the NFC West? The current reigning NFC champions reside there. So I don't think it's that less relevant besides the defending NFC champions just beat the mighty Minnesota Favres.

NJTank
The Vikings were due for a stinker, if Favre is bad next week then its time for concern. As for the Cowboys I can best do it in song,Its begining to look a like Christmas, toys in every store, Tony Romo and the Cowboys are choking it up again. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

BlueSky
Sig bet, I'm in. We going straight up results of the two Saints-Falcons games, best records overall, what?Since the basis of discussion deals with the regular season, let's do overall record.Okay boys, more on today's game later, but just wanted you to know I hadn't forgotten about this. Remind me on Week 17 to put it up....Crazy me. Thought once it became impossible for one of the teams to win more than the other the bet would be over. But okay, I'll remind you after week 17. That game was bizarre. It's the first one this year I haven't watched. Listened via Sirius as my wife and I worked in the yard. Was pretty bummed when the Redskins lined up for that FG at the end. Couldn't believe he missed. Also couldn't believe Vilma didn't try harder to stay inbounds and score when he got that pick. But hey, all's well that ends well. Falcon fans, their '98 SB run is before my time in the Atlanta area. I'm familiar with the NFC Championship win in Minnesota but did they have any crazy lucky wins that year like the Saints did yesterday?
