drj983
so are all 4 teams going to use the ufl logo colors?Judging by the write-up on that logo sheet, it's hard to tell what exactly they'll be doing. It clearly mentions a desire to integrate the UFL official "premiere season" colors into the team. Also, I'm curious if all teams will have jerseys that look like that, since the logo sheet states that the jerseys were to be designed prior to knowing the team names and logos. bowld
looks like they will all be using league colors..check out this page..each team seems to be using a different league color as primaryhttp://www.ufl-football.com/teams
drj983
Apparently, the upper third of these jerseys could be getting busier. Rumor has it that the team nickname could end up being added to the upper left-hand portion of the chest, while a commemorative "Premiere Season" logo is planned for the upper right-hand portion of the chest. Combined with the multi-color piping, the color-contrast collar and the league logo within the collar, it should make for a real cluster- of design elements.Actually, they could be getting even busier than that - in an interview I read probably 2 months ago on the UFL website, the league's marketing director stated that their goal is to have sponsor patches on the jerseys, and, "ideally," to have sponsors directly integrated into the team identity, a la 'Red Bull New York.' From a marketing standpoint, I guess it makes sense that you wouldn't want fans getting too attached to an identity/logo/colors, if you just plan on switching them up in the near future.Did anyone else find it funny that on the logo sheet they referred to the "LV" mark not as a "logo" but as the "Premiere Season City Identifier?" rams80
So wait...the numbers on the front and back are different colors? Jeez, it's like they tried to merge all of the funky style from the 90s with the futuristic style of the 00s. The best word to describe this, IMO, is just plain old weird looking.I was going to use Arena-rific.Sadly, the name isn't nearly "Arena" enough. Maybe "Las Vegas NightTrainzz" would be better. CAB
All I can say is... yuck. I really hate those uniforms. A huge disappointment to me, I think most of the people on the boards could've done better.
FiddySicks
So the two different jersey colors they'll be wearing are white and light grey? I hope this league folds before the first game. Brian in Boston
So wait...the numbers on the front and back are different colors? No. The numbers on the Silver home jersey are White outlined in Blue outlined in Black. The numbers on the White road jerseys are Blue outlined in White outlined in Black. Also, on the White road jerseys the shoulder yoke - above the piping - is Silver. Bleujayone
so are all 4 teams going to use the ufl logo colors? The UFL can't possibly be that braindead. They'd be hurting for color combos if they ever expanded to more than four teams (not happening). So they're going with "Green Grass" "Blue Skies" and "Silver for Innovation" facepalm. No purple, no burgundy, no gold, no navy, no orange, no yellow, no copper, no.......all just the same colors from the league's shield logo? Lemmie guess, the same guys who came up with "New" Coke in the mid-1980's are running this show. To borrow from another...Reeeeeeeeeeeed. Red. *Red*. *Red!*, *RED*! It is the color of sex! Red is the color of blood and passion and anger! It's fear and danger and signs that say, Do. Not. Enter. All my favorite things in life. We all have our little faults. Mine's in California. DustDevil61
The first impression can make or break this league, and it isn't really getting off to a good start. This isn't how to launch a league with these uniforms/color combos. If all 4 teams this year are going to wear some variation of league colors, then that just screams "gimmicky," any way you cut it.On UFLAccess.com, I kept hearing that the names might be different; there were hundreds of name submitted per team. There were also multiple (if memory serves me right, there were 6) names submitted for the Oklahoma City Wind Bison Marshals Barons Energy Thunder. I kept holding out hope that after the OKC logo leak, ownership would switch things up and surprise us. I was wrong. It seems like I may be wrong again, but this time with a whole league that I want to see succeed instead of a relocating NBA team leaving behind its 40-plus-yr. history. If it's San Francisco tomorrow, then I expect the team name to be Rockfish, and hope that the colors don't have some form of lime green or light-ish blue. Maybe they should go with red and black or something like that, but I don't know if the league is listening hard enough at this point. Las Vegas Locomotives? Florida Tuskers? If not, then my hopes of seeing the Utah Yellowjackets Stags Jackrabbits (at this rate, they'd go with that) take the field may soon be dashed because the league failed to make its first impression its strongest. http://i.imgur.com/Pyc5qRH.gifhttp://i.imgur.com/RDXvxFE.gif LED Sig Credits to packerfan21396

Sodboy13
Did they use Blitz: The League to design all of the teams? If they did, they should've tried harder. My Hartford Hellcats looked a whole lot better on the field than that. floydnimrod
Does anyone else like the sleeve stripes? If they removed that upper jersey piping, and straightened the numbers out, these wouldn't look half bad.The UFL league logo reminds me the OKC Thunder's logo.
