I think the Pirates adding red as a tertiary color in the 1990s was a good call. Yes, it's nice to have all of Pittsburgh's teams to have the same colors, but this helped the Pirates stand out.

I love the stripes on the sleeves and waist of those pullover uniforms.

Wait you’ve actually heard people call it “the B1G”

No just typing it. But it's weird to type "B1G" and say "Big Ten." But that's just me, apparently!

Update: Maybe I can start calling myself a fan of the <UFL>

lol no one actually says “ex-eye-eye”.

Roman numerals are a thing and you’re just nitpicking.

Nah not disrespecting the Big XII, just the Big TEN. 😊

Depends on the team's identity. Both of those uniforms are from the 70s and 80s (the Sox' set being a throwback), and they reflect the style of the era, which paired best with and was thus most often paired with pullovers. It works for those teams. However, if you took the buttons off the Yankees' pinstripes or the Tigers' home set, it would just look cheap. In short, what we consider to be timeless and retro typically does not look good in pullover form, while modern-retro (such as those two above) or modern uniforms rock the pullover look really well.

The kachina jersey, while beautiful up close, is a dark, muddy mess during normal TV game angles and it probably needed to be reworked before returning. Oh well, don’t have to worry about that anymore.

Agreed. And I just bought one lol

I don't see the whole point of the argument for the recent revival of the Oilers color scheme/vibe for the Texans and the Titans. Yes, both teams have valid claims, and it is part of both of their histories (to an extent). It would be easier if both teams just laid off the claims. I feel like we might be focusing too much on the past. The era of the Oilers is done and finished.

This is easily the best look the Jets have ever had.

It's not perfect (logo, unnecessary black outlines, wordmark size) but the stripes are amazing and I love the helmet finish. Could've easily been a modern classic if they didn't hamstring themselves with stupid combos.

While I prefer the logos/wordmark they have now, I otherwise agree that those uniforms were better. The only issue was the helmet finish, which looked good in photos (like that one) but was an eyesore most of the time on TV... so of course that was the one thing the Jets didn't fix.

Both of these logos are superior to their previous iterations.
