I'd understand if this were Dirk or Jason Kidd we were talking about here, but Brendan Haywood??While the game is early, Haywood is out tonight and with only one true "big", MIA is driving to the hoop more. Mahimni is basically Joel Anthony (with better hands) or Juwan Howard (with jumping ability) out there. Cardinal has at least has some offensive ability. In fact, the Heat (minus Wade) had quite a few calls against them that didn't seem to make much sense. Dallas has got to stop leaving Mario Chalmers wide open, Memphis lost a NCAA title because of this. Speaking of 3 pointers, I'm pretty surprised Dallas didn't make more of an effort to get the ball to Peja at the end there to attempt a 3. But I guess it's a really hard thing to justify not getting the ball to Dirk at the end. I predict that Dallas wins game 4. They certainly aren't playing like the championship juggernaut most people assumed they'd be in this series based off of their domination against Atlanta, Boston and Chicago. Miami is 2-1 but could just as easily be down 1-2 or even 0-3. Their defense, as usual, has been great... but the Mavericks have been missing some pretty good shots. Barrea has played poorly, as has Jason Terry. Every time Miami goes up by double digits, it just doesn't phase the Mavericks. I suspect every game in this series will be a close one, almost down to the wire every time. Neither team is overwhelmingly better than the other - at least not at this stage.
