I agree, that's why I don't care. That's just a ridiculous amount of posts in a really short period of time. I was sharing an observation.

Why do we care? We may be on the verge of history here. That's why we care.

His PPD avg. is at 15.13. It's the highest PPD avg. I've ever seen. Now as we all know, in order to qualify for league leader status, a person needs 3.1 appearances per 162 days. My point is that if this guy keeps it up, we could be looking at a new season record in both posts and PPD avg. Back in the day, the idea of anyone breaking the 15 PPD avg. was pure folly. It was seen as unreachable. There's still a long way to go but we've never seen a start like this. If the kid doesn't let the media pressure get to him, he might have a shot. A lot of records could fall; and quickly.

I just hope he's clean. We have new testing in place but the PA (Poster's Association) won't agree to tests for certain things and we all know that there are new ways to beat the system being developed every day. There are always suspicions when someone reels off a run like this.

EDIT: I don't want to set off a media frenzy but...could we be looking at the unthinkable? Could we be witnessing the first person to ever make the 10,000 post club in less than 12 months? That would be like batting .520 for a season.

Well, since so many people have brought it up, I will definitely try to dial my posting back. 15 posts per day is ridiculous. Overkill doesn't even begin to describe it.

In fact, I'm kind of embarrassed that it's that bad.

Let's be honest...all of the posts are pretty much meaningless.

I always want to see history made. Keep posting CRichardson! The last legitimate long-term challenger I can remember was DirtyCurty (now Cujo). He was on an epic pace before his suspension (they never said why, but I think he was caught juicing or something). He's been nowhere near as prolific since his return. Don't get me wrong, Curt's still great and all, but he never got "it" back.

Maybe someday after he retires, Curt will tell us what really happened. I think he was hiding an injury and that's why he went to the PEDs. If he had just taken the time to heal correctly... I guess we'll never know. Still, a very strong career.

Wow, Darron Thomas is skipping his senior season at Oregon and entering the NFL Draft (and has already signed Drew Rosenhaus to represent him). Curious move, to say the least. I can't really see him being drafted.

Where does he rank among the QBs going into the draft?

Most places I've read have Luck and Griffin being the top two followed by Foles.

Ryan Tannehill is probably above Foles, but yeah anywhere after Foles it's a crap shoot.

Yeah, I'd say Foles and Tannehill are interchangeable. Their stats are very similar. Foles had much more passing yardage but that's only because A&M's offense featured more rushing offense and I'm pretty sure Arizona had no run game whatsoever.

From what I've read, he's concerned that he's going to have to battle for the starting QB job, so that probably plays into it as much as anything. His stock may not be extraordinarily high right now, but it'll be even lower should he spend a season as a second string.

The only reason a lowerclassman should declare for the NFL Draft is if he's going to be a first-round pick.

Well that's bad news for DT, but VERY good news for Oregon! The fact that DT might've been a second string bodes well for next year's team. I'm going to call it now: Brian Bennet=next Tim Tebow. Reminded me a lot of him when I saw Bennet play (in a good way).

Darron Thomas will either change positions (WR, DB?) or he'll become that sort of "relief pitcher" style quarterback. The league has a few guys like Dixon or Seneca Wallace who can play in clutch scenarios, but they're not an every-down Favre or Brady type.

All things considered, if Thomas gets drafted, you can't really complain about getting paid a few hundred grand a year to warm benches and watch NFL games up close.
