Wow!! That Oregon uniform may be the greatest football uniform I've ever seen. Holy ****!!!!!

Yeah, it looks absolutely awesome. Love the new wing pattern, the new font, the helmet... looks awesome! Nike hit a home run on this one.

Oregon's never going to go back to the throwback look permanently (unfortunately) so what they should do is modernize that throwback. Yellow Belotti Bold numbers outlined in white. Yellow pants. That yellow helmet above.

It'd be a perfect look.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

That would be great.

I've also always wanted to see a Harrington Era throwback, just for one game.

Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. I cry tears.

I think Nike could release literally any jersey they want with a dark ominous background, a black guy, and a tinted visor and people would like it before they see the actual uniform in use.

Exactly. Nike photoshop images look like they're designed to appeal to every 16 boy in america. Which is probably exactly true.

That's exactly what they're doing. Schools that can't compete with the traditional powerhouses when it comes to recruiting have to attract the recruits with short attention spans which means shiny uniforms. See Kentucky, for example.

Or a 27yr old female. ^_^ I love their 2012 Rose Bowl uniform.

Well, unless every product you buy comes in a plain white box with black lettering, you're "guilty" of the same ;)

It's marketing. That's the point of marketing.

How are those numbers legal?

I don't see how they wouldn't be...they're not all that different from the carbon-on-green numbers and are much more visible than the black-outlined-in-volt-on-black.

On another note, the jerseys and pants look even better brightened up a tad. Thanks, JP.

I really like the wings attached to the back of the jersey. They're unique to a football uniform and should be distracting enough to the Wisconsin offense. They may make it problematic for LaMichel James to break through the line, but if they're as sharp as they look, I think defenders will do all they can to avoid injury or loss of limb. Any idea if Nike will try to apply that kind of weaponry to NFL uniforms when they get the contract next season?
