I hope Virginia Tech and/or UCLA don't bust off any one-off for the Sun Bowl. But I have a weird feeling it's probably going to be one of the ugliest Matchups this bowl season.

And brick pattern or not, I'd love that Minnesota helmet if they didn't have numbers on one side, if they had logos on both I'd love it.

If anyone is curious as to who will probably wear what for their respective bowl games:

I don't know why, but Auburn is listed as the "home" team for the BCS Title Game, so I'm assuming it'll be Auburn in Navy over white vs. FSU in white over gold.

Here's another picture, slightly brighter. I can see the brick pattern (they use it on other elements of their uniforms as well, right?)

still having problems seeing it, i have to strain to see it. it needs to be either more visible or completely taken out

I would like it bettwe with gold outlines and Logos on both sides. I always wondered why they haven't added a gold helmet with a maroon stripe and logo. I mean they are the GOLDEN Gophers. It would look better than white and gold/maroon/gold would look great

Does anyone else think color vs. color could work in the BCS Championship?

NO.

Auburn's navy blue and Florida State's dark red are both too dark to play against each other. It looked bad against Duke's blue jerseys, it would look even worse against Auburn navy blue jerseys.

Follow up question: why does everyone have such a boner for color vs color matchups? It looks like a pop warner game every time it happens. Team in white versus team in a color jersey is so much more pleasing to the eye.

Good question.

Because a lot of them look really good.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)
