The colors and stripe are fine, I suppose, but those eyeballs just scream "NO FEAR" brand. If Cincy wants to complete the look, they should add a "Ford Sucks" decal and one of Calvin pissing on something.

I hate how Miami's font is being used everywhere, I don't see any using glades bold besides FSU

That's probably just because other schools don't want to.

I've seen a few high schools use it as it is available in the catalog.

Really wish it wasn't available to other colleges though, it reallly dilutes it.

I loved both those and the ones after.

I remember watching that 2000s team and a bunch had those reflective visors (and I'm usually not one for showboating or trying too hard) and man that just screamed badass. Like those teams just had something I haven't seen in a long time.

The iridium visors were definitely cool during their time but what made them look good was the fact that visor complemented the color scheme so well in daylight.

You want to know what's really Badass about the U? The fact that they've put out Pro Bowl & HOF talent for 3 decades. Most of it in the same uniform too. It's amazing how they seemed to effortlessly intimidate and make their opponents look like they were in high school. Quite surprising how how W. Sapp, J. Brown and the rest of those guys managed to be so badass without black uniforms and special one offs?

Maybe their on the field play and tradition of sending boatloads of players to the league defined The U brand as opposed to how Nike dressed them? Just a thought.

That and some under the table $$$ of course.

You see the irony in talking about the canes not participating in one-offs while quoting a photo of a one-off, yes? They're yearly participants in the pro combat rivalry program and have had at least four distinct sets starting with the Dan Morgan/Najeh Davenport drop shadows. Not exactly the same uniform.

No irony whatsoever. My whole point is that the U created their brand pre nike, and I hardly consider drop shadows a major uniform change although I did love the green alt that they wore. Also the Dorsey era set was not bad from the front, it was the side panels and pant stripes that ruined it.

With most of the helmets we've seen this year (:cough: Indiana :cough: cough:) That's not bad at all. I like it, it's not a helmet that they should ever wear again, but for a one-off at a bowl game it's at least decent. The candy red looks good, and you won't be able to see the eyes.

I've never once watched a Sabres game either. Doesn't mean that Buffaslug wasn't a terrible idea.

I went to Cactus Sports here in Tempe to get some Christmas gifts for my family, and they had just received all of the new Arizona State helmets for next season. Gold, Maroon, White, and Black. All with the large logo outline on one side and the number on the other.

These are the two I picked up. They haven't even worn the black one (or the gold one, for that matter) yet.

There's talk on some Illinois message boards that the new uniforms may not be ready for next year, possibly because they rejected what Nike originally planned on going with. Not sure how reliable that is since the uniform talk there is comical compared to here, but that's a good sign if it's true.

Possible, but not likely. Current adidas deal runs through the end of the 2014-15 school year, so the earliest change would be for the 2015 season anyway.

This is probably one of the best-looking Army Navy games. Both teams look great.

As others have said, Army-Navy looks absolutely phenomenal.

Navy is in White-Blue-White, and Army is in Gold-White-Grey.
