Zona gets the Advocare V100 Bowl in Shreveport vs Boston College. I read that the Pac-12 got hurt by the Ducks not getting selected to a BCS Bowl.

Because SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC!!!

You're kidding right? Without the 2-team limit, you'd probably see another.

Will that limit exist with the 4-team playoff among the 6 rotational bowls?

No limits.

However, selection is done by a committee rather than by a poll...so there will be a limit in some sort of fashion.

Georgia vs. Nebraska in the Gator Bowl. Rematch of last year's Capital One Bowl.

We'd been hearing either Miami in the Peach or Michigan in the Gator all day. I would have been excited to draw either of them, even if they're more brand names than good teams this year. This was the worst matchup possible in terms of interest. Good luck getting Georgia fans to go to Jacksonville, a city we travel to every year for the Florida game already, to play a rematch of last year's game.

My sympathies to the players, staff, alumni and fans of CMU, FAU, ULM, SJSU, USA, TSU, Toledo, Troy, UTSA and WKU...you all had GREAT seasons and deserved to have gotten in over some of the 6-6 teams who did get in...but politics kept you out.

Just you wait...next year, JUSTICE comes to the FBS.

Yes justice since the new bowls in 2014 in Boca Raton, Marlins Park, Montgomery, AL and the Bahamas are so great to the athletic department coffers.

What percentage of teams (players and lower level, underpaid administrators) of MAC schools will have to rush to get passports for the Bahamas Bowl 365 days from now ?

Coach (to players): We just got six wins. We are not bowl eligible!

Players: Yeah!

Coach: Well, could be playing in the Bahamas!

Players: The Bahamas? Really? That's awesome.

Coach: A passport is required for travel. You are going to have to pay for a passport yourself since we may not have the money do that. No video on Sunday, see the trainers. Good win guys!

The bowl system has no benefits.

Well, you HAVE to agree that an 8-4 Western Kentucky should've gotten in over a 7-5 Arkansas State from the same conference...also, San Jose State should've gotten in because THEY WERE THE ONLY TEAM TO BEAT FRESNO STATE THIS SEASON. If that's not enough to get a 6-6 team in a bowl, I don't know what is anymore.

Also, whatever happened to bowl tie-ins? The Armed Forces Bowl had a tie-in to the Mountain West, but went with C-USA's Middle Tennessee even though the MWC had enough bowl-eligible teams (because of that, SJSU was left out in the cold)

That bowl is C-USA vs MWC unless Navy becomes bowl eligible. Same deal as Poinsetta Bowl with Army.

And since Navy became bowl-eligible, they said it would be MWC vs. Navy...as late as this morning they said Navy's opponent would be from the MWC.

Here I thought honor and keeping your word was essential to anything Armed Forces-related...

Who is "they" because that isn't how the bowl is tied in. It's C-USA vs Navy unless the Midshipmen aren't eligible...then MWC gets a shot.

Not exactly. The Armed Forces Bowl is MWC vs. Navy.

There essentially was a trade as the MWC put UNLV in Heart of Dallas in exchange for MTSU to go to Fort Worth. B1G placed two teams in the BCS, thus did not fill both Heart of Dallas and Little Caesars.

All 6-6 teams who made bowls are from AQ conferences.

It also does not help SJSU in that the averaged less than 17,000/game. That Fresno St crowd totally boosted that average too. SJSU cannot move tickets!
