Goalie Equipment: Post Trade/Call Up

A visual that is always kind of bizarre looking to me is when, for understandable circumstantial reasons, a goalie is forced to don his old team's equipment after a trade. The only example I can think of this year was Ben Bishop after his move from Ottawa, but there obviously have been other instances of this in history

Ben Bishop 2013 (Ottawa to Tampa Bay)

Felix Potvin 1999 (Toronto to New York Islanders)

Ed Belfour 1997 (Chicago to San Jose)

Patrick Roy 1995 (Montreal to Colorado)

Mike Vernon 2000 (San Jose To Florida)

I remember back in the day Johan Hedberg to Pittsburgh wore his blue Manitoba Moose helmet. He went on a winning streak and kept it the rest of the year. I still have the foam moose antlers they gave out in the playoffs that year. He ended up keeping the design, but putting it back in Pittsburgh colors. The NHL game that year (who gives the goalies generic helmets) even had his blue mask.

Ed Belfour (Hawks to Sharks) (I know it's linked above, but I can't see the linked image)

Brian Elliott (Sens to Avs)

And then, there's this classic monstrosity from Jeff Hackett.

Are we limiting this to NHL? Because there's a whole other world in the AHL and even more so in the AA and A level leagues.

Dustin Tokarski was traded from Tampa/Syracuse to Montreal/Hamilton

What's kind of funny about that Belfour/Sharks look was that they used it for one of his cards.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
