NFL Draft 2014

Chip Kelly named Foles the starting QB going in to next season. First real endorsement he's ever given him. Up until this I really think there was a chance they'd move him and draft another QB. Maybe the guy chip wants isn't out there this year.

He did say Nick is the guy but he didn't sound too convincing. I agree with what you said...Chip's guy isn't out there.

It either means that Foles is the guy or that there's three months until they can add a better QB and he doesn't want to deal with questions every day until then.

Johnny Football just declared himself eligible for the NFL draft.

Why do I have this feeling he's gonna get destroyed when he gets in?

Maybe because he has nothing to protect him...the boy is skinny and one big hit and he will be out for the count;

Johnny Football definitely needs to put on some muscle (and one could argue that college for another year would be the place to do that). But despite his persona, he seems like a smart, well-prepared guy who puts the time in. And the little I have seen him play, he has made some really nice touch throws. I have a feeling he might be for real. I'd like the Vikes to get him, but he'll be gone by #8.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."

ESPN is prediciting that he will go # 4 to the Browns....I seen him play a lot the last two years and I hope he makes it in the NFL, but I believe him and Teddy Bridgewater will both be busts and Manziel is too much like Tebow and the latter is a product of the system. Only time will tell.

Except for the fact that Manziel can, ya know, throw the football.

I'm not saying he's gonna be a great NFL player or not, but he's actually a quarterback.

Arizona RB Ka'Deem Carey is going pro. Not much of a shock considering how many times he got fed the ball this year.

That wooshing sound you just heard was a collective sigh of relief from all over the PAC 12, with it's epicenter just north in Tempe.

I have a feeling he goes in the top 3. While St.Louis doesn't need a QB, I wouldn't be surprised to see them trade down again. If not Jacksonville needs a QB and Manziel is the second best option.

Cleveland will take either Bortles or Carr. Two mediocre QBs that will add to the never ending list of mediocre QBs on that pathetic roster since 99. This is the same franchise that drafted Couch, Quinn, and Weeden in the first round....esh

Not to mention signing this guy as a free agent:

He was decent in SF and Tampa, but not worth the money.

Jeff Garcia

Jake Delhomme

Jason Campbell

Trent Dilfer

Seneca Wallace

Jeff Garcia played really well in his first stint with the Eagles. Something just happens to players when they go to the Browns. It must be something with the culture of the organization that just makes it so players don't play as well as they're capable of.
