2014 NBA Playoffs

Pacers fans, there's always the late 90's to look back on.

But these are the Hawks who historically cannot close out series.

mike woodson, joe johnson and josh smith are all gone and al horford isn't playing.their past playoff history really doesn't have anything to do with what they're doing to indiana now.

And the Bobcats have been tranquilized. The Hornets have a promising future though.

The Hawks are up 80-54 in Indianapolis. Chemistry: it's more then what you had to take for your science credit in school.

I think the only thing they have going for them is the fact they play in the Eastern Conference. Michael Jordan will screw this baby up, just watch.

they needed one more lottery pick (and to hit big on it). al jeff, kemba walker and MKG isn't gonna turn into anything other than a yearly first round exit.

Obviously wasn't referencing THAT particular moment, jerk.

Also LOL Spurs.

The Bulls were within 3. Dude puts up and misses both free throws, Washington gets the offensive rebound. Same guy makes the first but misses the 2nd and the Wizards again get the offensive board. Bulls utterly suck.

The one team in Chicago I'm glad I have no investment in, because this end was awful.

The Bulls played a piss-poor performance for a team ready to be eliminated. No heart, no want at all from Chicago. Their team, like the crowd, was dead all night long, and it showed in the scoreboard. The Bulls basically drew up the quintessential gameplan on what not to do when facing postseason elimination.

And Kramerica, I think Washington has a legitimate route to the ECF, regardless of what happens in Indiana-Atlanta.

I just had a thought. When Silver presents the O'Brian trophy to this years champion, he most likely will pronounce "Champions" how it's supposed to be pronounced. None of that stupid champeen s*** Stern use to say.

Also, is there a chance people will actually cheer when he presents the trophy?

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

After the whole Sterling incident today, you bet your ass they will.

I actually liked it when Stern used to say, "Congratulations to the new NBA World Champeens." People will still know what he's saying, and it covers accents and speech impediments for some people. I don't see the harm in saying "champions" in that way.

Grizzlies, Hawks, and Wizards could all move on while the Bulls, Thunder, and Pacers go home. What a weird playoffs this has been. Except for the stupid Heat.

Is there a more predetermined narrative than "Thunder loss = Westbrook's fault?"

Durant's had a pretty crappy series despite putting up some big numbers. Plus ESPN's pushed the KD = Jordan narrative hard only to have Memphis piss on their shoes.
