2014 NBA Playoffs

Helluva game! The Clips put all the bs to the side and got the series win. I do worry they will be spent mentally and physically going into OKC. I mean they went thru hell and back, and it's only round 1. Should be a good series though.

I'm burned out on Mark Jackson's tough guy act but the man can coach. He deserves to keep his job. I don't think Dubs management understands how irrelevant they were before he got there.

I know we have many games left, but is this not the greatest opening round of playoffs ever?

Golden State needs to retool their roster, if they ever want to get anywhere. Too many guys that shoot and do little else. They also have literally nothing under the rim to stand up to guys like DeAndre Jordan, who looked like prime Mutombo tonight thanks to David Lee and friends (not to mention Curry's numerous boneheaded hero-ball plays, what the flying :censored: was that about). Ezeli might be able to help down low if/when he gets back from injury, but he's probably no better than a decent backup center, best case scenario.

I think they should put Klay on the block in attempt to shore up some of their weaknesses. Klay isn't really part of the problem, but he's definitely not part of the solution, and guys like him are replaceable.

Two things,

1) The Warriors are absolutely insane if they fire Mark Jackson. Unless they can get Phil Jackson or God to coach them, they're making a terrible decision if they fire him. But insanity is basically the Warriors way, so I fully expect them to let him go.

2) Despite the Warriors basic lack of size, you'd have to think that this series would've been WAY different if they would've had Andrew Bogut. With Iggy and David Lee grunting their way through injuries of their own, their total lack of size really crippled the Dubs, and they still almost pulled it out. Retooling is definitely necessary to get them some size, but if they blow the whole thing up, theyre stupid. But stupidity is basically the Warriors way, so I fully expect them to do just that.

Oh, one final point. Seeing a Northern California team lose to a Southern California team is always a bummer to me, but at least it wasn't a loss to the f*****g Lakers.

Either way these playoffs have been great, and if the Mavs pull the upset tomorrow, I'll be happy with whoever comes out of the West.

God, just please don't let the Heat win again!!!!!!!

Sadly for their "fans," Indiana and OKC avoided elimination tonight to force Game 7s on Saturday. Those "fans" are directing their anger tonight at the Hawks and Grizzlies for not doing their job.

Thank God the Pacers won! Man,that game was good! Lots of dunks! Did you know that the Pacers were in the ABA and won 3 ABA titles before merging with the NBA. Reggie Miller will like this!

Ok, so I've been of the thought during these playoffs that there are too many days off in between games in the first round. Now I see that game one between the Clippers and Thunder is later today? Really? Did I hear that right? That seems kinda dumb.

No, it starts tomorrow. The remaining two first round games 7 are today.

I saw, I came, I left.

I'm not much of a basketball fan, but I do enjoy the occasional playoff game when it gets good. Last night's Warriors/Clippers game was one of those occasions.

On top of having a great game, that was a beautiful uniform match up as well.

That final Raps possession was terrible. Should've just called a timeout after they got the pass in. Terrible. So much for that.

I was surprised the Raptors made a run in the end. After all the talk about "Tank Nation" for the first two months of the year, this certainly was a pleasant surprise of a season for the Raptors. I enjoyed this run. I hope better things will come next season.

I saw, I came, I left.

The NBA wanted a Heat vs Nets matchup and they got it.
