They still play in Oakland... they won the title in Oakland... Oakland is not referred to as "The City," but rather "The Town."

This really should say "THE TOWN RULES THE LAND."

C'mon Adidas...

This is the fault of the Warriors originally playing in San Francisco (which is "The City" to just about every Bay Area resident I've ever met), and the fact that they'll be moving back to "The City" in a year or two.

Another thing that that kind of mucks things up a bit is that their "The City" throwbacks they wear have the Golden Gate Bridge on them, while their current uniforms have the new eastern span of the Bay Bridge (these logos came out before the new bridge was even opened), which goes from Oakland to Treasure Island and doesn't actually stretch into San Francisco. That's perfect for now, but it makes me wonder if they'll do any type of an update when they eventually "cross" the real bridge back to San Francisco.

Eventually, I  (as well as many other posters here, I  sure) will make my own Spurs "global" logo. I felt that was going in the right direction, but just fallso short...

Although it may be a homage to the 1976 logo?

Looks like a 50th Anniversary logo for the Nuggets

I like it!

Sorta related, but why is that Nuggets logo in the profile pic plain navy and white? Not saying I'm reading into it at all of course, just curious if there's any significance to it.

The Kroenke's own the Nuggets too, so maybe its a nod to the Rams going to navy and white? Hopefully this won't mean the Nuggets are phasing out gold as well...

I guess these anniversary logos that the Bucks and now the Nuggets have released aren't gonna be on the jerseys as patches, at least as they are, since there are too many small elements for a patch that size.

We don't know that. For one thing, the shoulders on the new Nike NBA jerseys (some of them at least) will likely have a more standard shoulder width than their most recent college and international jerseys, so there theoretically could still be sufficient room for commemorative and/or memorial patches above the Nike logo and ad patch. It could obviously still be somewhat cluttered, but not unbearable. It should be more along the lines of this:

As opposed to this:

Actually...

And yes...a very small part of the city and county of San Francisco is on the tip of Alameda Island.
