All they're doing is running the ball (and so is their running back). Alabama's been that way for decades.

They are still bowl eligible for now and unless Tennessee has their next hire near contract, it doesn't matter. Plus, it's still hard to recruit well there. Lane Kiffin is a better HC from when Tennessee got him after the Raiders, but he is now too good for Knoxville. Who you "gotz"???

See Red
It's sounding like a real possibility that Chip Kelly ends up in Gainesville. Still a lot of speculation but I've seen updates saying they're vetting him and others saying the sides are negotiating. The lawyer who broke the McElwain signing news is saying a decision could be as soon as next week.

tBBP
Via The Score... Quote Report: Texas A&M expected to inquire about Jimbo Fisher Texas A&M could be trying to make a big splash in the coaching waters this offseason. The Aggies will be reportedly looking into Jimbo Fisher's interest in becoming head coach, two people familiar with the situation told Dan Wolken of USA TODAY Sports. Kevin Sumlin remains head coach for the time being, though it is widely believed he will be let go at the end of the season. Fisher currently occupies one of the best jobs in the country at Florida State, and didn't seem to be seriously interested in jumping ship to LSU recently, but this situation could be different. Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward director knows Fisher well from their time at LSU. The pair have stayed in contact over the years, a source told Wolken. Fisher is set to make $5.5 million annually with the Seminoles until 2024, so it remains to be seen if the inquiries lead to any real interest. My reaction upon seeing this... They can have him. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

I'm torn. As a Florida fan, I know Florida State could do a lot worse than Jimbo Fisher, but I also don't think he's a particularly good coach (even with the natl. championship). I'd hate for Fisher to leave and some hot young name steps into a team loaded with talent. On the other hand, it'd be nice to see Florida State fall on some hard times again. dfwabel
There's growing thought that if Auburn loses to Alabama this weekend that Gus Malzhan will resign to take the Arkansas job. If you have not heard, Auburn's AD, Jay Jacobs, will not return and the department not only has the basketball/FBI investigation, but there was also issues with the softball team and harassment during Jacobs' tenure. FiddySicks
Sigh. I KNEW coming into this game that Pitt was going to win. College football always ends up ultimately getting ruined by newer high ranking teams losing to stupid teams like Pitt.
