It looks like Butch Jones could be left on the tarmac. Missouri has gone from non-existent as a football team to almost bowl eligible.

Who would have thought that Tennessee and Florida would be a a part of Missouri's easy stretch of the schedule along with Idaho and UConn?

Alabama seems to be very predictable on offense. All they're doing is running the ball (and so is their running back).

Alabama's been that way for decades.

John Currie better be walking to Butch Jones like Vince McMahon to a wwe ring when that plane gets to Knoxville tomorrow to fire him

Why?

They are still bowl eligible for now and unless Tennessee has their next hire near contract, it doesn't matter.

Plus, it's still hard to recruit well there.

Lane Kiffin is a better HC from when Tennessee got him after the Raiders, but he is now too good for Knoxville.

Who you "gotz"???

USC, Sparty, Wazzu, UW, Notre Dame, Okie State, Penn State, UCF, we've got a great playoff song from the '80's for ya...

I really hate that the first thing I think of when I see the words "shattered dreams" is this guy.

It's sounding like a real possibility that Chip Kelly ends up in Gainesville. Still a lot of speculation but I've seen updates saying they're vetting him and others saying the sides are negotiating. The lawyer who broke the McElwain signing news is saying a decision could be as soon as next week.

Report: Texas A&M expected to inquire about Jimbo Fisher

Texas A&M could be trying to make a big splash in the coaching waters this offseason.

The Aggies will be reportedly looking into Jimbo Fisher's interest in becoming head coach, two people familiar with the situation told Dan Wolken of USA TODAY Sports.

Kevin Sumlin remains head coach for the time being, though it is widely believed he will be let go at the end of the season.

Fisher currently occupies one of the best jobs in the country at Florida State, and didn't seem to be seriously interested in jumping ship to LSU recently, but this situation could be different.

Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward director knows Fisher well from their time at LSU. The pair have stayed in contact over the years, a source told Wolken.

Fisher is set to make $5.5 million annually with the Seminoles until 2024, so it remains to be seen if the inquiries lead to any real interest.

My reaction upon seeing this...
